You should use the google fiber connection but instead of using Google's Wifi router Use TP link deco mess router or TP link C 60 router those have much bigger range. It's really dumb to change your ISP for a router problem
Also i don't why it was so hard to figure that the speedtest speed difference was because of the server.
I was laughing at the same fact. Lol some Indians will save every penny. Mf you IT kids can definitely afford a decent router.hahaha

Harnoor is testing speed with "fast" whereas his mate is checking speed with "speedtest"....there's always a significant difference in both...even here in India, "speedtest" shows faster speeds than "fast"

also it depends upon server on which we ping , so best way to test out internet speed is to download any 1gb file
and also harnoor being an engineer made a mistake , There was no need to switch from google fiber to at nt , you just have to extend permeability of your wifi extender

Like even if you streaming 4k you are good below 250 Mbps .
(Having 50 Mbps and never feel I need more then that.)
Its mostly for downloading large files, lets say you are working on Apache for big data, and you need to download the file, that file can be 100-200 GB or even more. Thats when 1 gig internet is useful, it saves your time and increases productivity. You don't need it all the time, only sometimes but when you really need to save time, its useful.

i am having covid now and ur videos are giving me motivation for me to gain over it and i can pursue my education in abroad.
1) AT&T DOES NOT has an installation if you choose for self installation. The $99 fees applies only if you ask an AT&T technician for installation. And the self installation is very easy.
Providing SSN shouldn't be a factor too, well at-least its not the case in Texas.
2) AT&T is offering reward cards too, right now they're offering two rewards cards worth $375 ($200 + $175). Not sure if you got it or not.
3) AT&T is also offering HBOMax subscription with the $60 1 Gbps plan which no other provider offers.

Brother the one you tested on MacBook Pro was having WiFi gen 5 and WiFi gen 5 is not as efficient and fast as compare to WiFi 6 so if are 600 mbps you would have WiFi 6 router which already have..
And I suggest that you must change you router place or add n extra router to increase speed a extender
And you must change you isp due to network coverage you change your router first🙂and make the problem is in servervice of router providing wireless signal to devices unless don’t have computer or laptop connected enthernet and those too have generation so don’t get confused😊

If you want to get those speed on wifi with google fiber then you will have to purchase google's wifi 6 router the one you had is not first generation google wifi router not even the nest one, 10:14 you can see the wifi6 logo in the status bar that i think at&t router is wifi 6 compatible that's why he is getting those speeds,
