I'm flying tomorrow for the second time, i'm nervous, but this video has really cheered me up and made me giggle. I don't want to be the lady faffing about in security lol.
This video is more for courthouse security than airport security. Last I knew, the size limit for liquids was 3.4 ounces, not 5. They do not like things in shoes and most use body scanners, which require a slightly different preparation than the metal detectors used in the video. Airport security will instruct you what to do. At least this video offered some good tips and emphasized the importance of getting prepared and not delaying fellow passengers.

Man, that’s deep! I’m just glad I recently had the instinct of keeping my pockets empty, along with placing my smartphone and watch in my bag while at the ticket counter so I could get ready ahead of time in order to facilitate the process of removing my carry-on items and retrieving them afterwards.
Its literally the rudest thing when the guy shakes his head as she tries to get oriented. Like this is your job, if you don't have the patience WHY would you pick this job to do?!
That really doesn't matter. If the other people want to shake their head thats fine, but he isn't going anywhere so she isn't holding him up. Plus do they really think the extra 6-7 seconds is going to make a difference?
passionskayandmiguel I agree! I'm traveling to mexico in the fall for my nieces wedding and I haven't been on a plane since my honeymoon in 2003 and this is the first time traveling alone so I just don't want to annoy people
At the video time of 1:45 minutes: Why does one need to put his items, including his cell phone, inside his shoes, which doesn't seem to provide for the best of hygiene? Would they not provide another basin to put these things in -- and a larger basin to readily accommodate the laptop?
As this is not an actual security point.. its likely go give us the general idea and any 'mistakes' is likely just that that was the basin they had available. As for putting stuff in ones shoes.. While I agree with hygiene and stuff.. the idea is likely that the small stuff is kept together and its therefore easy to grab them and put them back where we found them.
Sometimes there’s not enough bins, especially during rush hour at an airport. So its convenient to put these items in shoes. Secondly, all laptops come in different sizes. As long as it fits the machine it works
People rushing to be courteous in the line going in and after, at the Honolulu airport, but it's the frikken TSA agent that taking so long staring at the damn X-ray monitor!!!!!
