- Today were checking out Quarry Ridge Mountain Bike park in Fitchburg, WI. Located 10 min from downtown Madison. Quarry offers some of the chunkiest, fastest, downhill sends in Southern Wisconsin. Maybe all of Wisconsin.
I only had an hour so I didn't explore the whole trail system. But if the rest is anything like what I rode, it's safe to say Quarry should be added to the top of your list!

Just curious - why do your wrap your cables/lines and what do you use?
I hate having so many cables. I like a nice clean look so I cable wrap my cables. This is just some standard cable wrap that I got at a local bike shop. It kind of reminds me of old telephone cord. if I would’ve planned it out a little better, I should have used heat shrink. It would’ve made it even cleaner.

I thought carbon fiber bikes were prone to frame breaking?
Carbon is strong. I come from BMX and thought the same exact thing. I’ve broken a lot of chromoly frames. Haven’t broken a carbon frame yet. You just need to pay more attention to torque specs when tightening parts.
