I saw the Garfield movie and I honestly love it. Sure it ain't no masterpiece nor Disney-like "kid flick", but it was fun and enjoyable to watch. I would watch it again and again.
I Gotta Check Out These 2 Movies At Some Point Anytime Soon
I haven’t seen Garfield yet, but I saw IF when it came out and I loved it, it gave me the feel of, well, any movie before 2019. I guess I can say it was a movie we all needed after so many flops or ‘meh’ movies. And Ryan Reynolds nailed it as usual
Same
Happy tuesday morning, Brian. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
I want that dapper teddy bear with the top hat!
he's the grandpa we needed 🥺🥺
I like Garfield (Chris Catt, I mean Chris Pratt was okay as Garfield just like him as Mario) and IF was good as well (who knew that Harry Potter’s evil Auntie would be so nice and sweet)
Haha frr, aunt petunia’s redemption arc
I was also surprised aunt petunias there too 😮
I watched the "Garfield" movie & enjoyed it. Something about Garfield's dad's gang reminds me of the "Claw" gang from "Garfield on the Town" from 1983.
I will say that when I saw the end credits, the highlight waw WHO played Keith
I haven't seen either movie yet, but I got to say I enjoyed this review here, and I am more excited now than ever to actually sit down and watch these when I can.
Same.
Thanks for liking IF movie❤ I seen this on my birthday last Friday. Around the middle of the movie, I was wondering where's the human form of imaginary friend and Ryan character's the only one which made me cry a little😢 I mostly have celebrities/people who i know in person as imaginary friends while johnny depp's my imagination husband. This movie messages follows my imagination world represents a bit( imagination world is a sanctuary and adults still need imaginary friends cause real world is cruel). Like everyone says, why Blue looks like Grimace the McDonald's mascot🤨
For real and some people think that blue is a rip-off of grimace but he is not.
I saw If today and absolutely loved it :D
Im excited for your inside out 2 review
6:14 I loved this movies it kinda got emotional towards the nd
I read the title of this video as "Girlfriend and IF Review" instead of "Garfield and IF Review" and was a bit confused when you started talking about Garfield. My brain lol. Not meant to pressure or anything, just my brain misreading words again. Love your content and how wholesome you are!! Keep up the great work. I need to get caught up on your Disney Dreamlight valley streams too.
Did you not see the thumbnail?
I’m going to see Garfield on someday this week (depends on how the weather is) and I already saw if and it was a great movie
I saw both Films too and loved them both even tho bill murray regreted doing the live action movies its still part of my childhood and he did a decent job sounded like the og actor for garfield. As for IF as a fan of fosters home it defianinlty felt like watching the show again and brought back my inner child.
Yeah, I saw IF, and it WAS good! But I don't like that they can call a movie PG when it has not only swear words, but also BLASPHEMY, like OMG. Overall, it was a good movie! 😀
I agree with you. I liked the movie but it shouldn’t be rated PG.
No one can voice Garfield like Lorenzo Music. He is so missed.
When’s Part 2 of Pokémon Scarlet nuzlocke live coming?
My only problem with The Garfield Movie is I wish we could have more Garfield moments from the comics into this movie. When those parts happened, that's when I had the most enjoyment with the movie. Not saying the story was bad, it just feels like another generic movie that just so happened to have Garfield. That's probably the weakest part of the movie for me. And I also have to agree with you about Chris Pratt as Garfield. When he laid his voice back and give a more lazy performance (lazy as in Garfield), that actually works. I just wish he did it throughout the movie. Heck, why not have him sit on a couch and do the movie for the most part? Fun fact: When Andrew Stanton was recording Crush in Finding Nemo, he sat on a couch to make him sound more laid back. But overall, it's still a fun movie, I just wish it was more of a Garfield Movie.
I saw both movies last month, they’re fun family films
If was a classic for me I really loved this film and I did enjoy Garfield as well
I saw IF yesterday in theaters. Very heartwarming, but a bit too lollipops and rainbows for me. When I watch a family film, I like it to be for the family not just for the kids. Stellar cast, and great storyline. 7/10
I saw IF and I got to agree I like the story that was told cause the message that it's trying to tell is a good one and I'll admit at some parts I did get a teary eyed and you do have to give credit where credit is due for being an original tale instead another remake/reboot/sequel
I don't know if what I'm about to say next is a spoiler it doesn't really revolve around the plot, but idk how touchy people are gonna be so to be safe imma put a warning here plus I'm only mentioning characters you've seen in the trailers not the others reguardless you've been warned to continue reading, okay we good? Good
Anyways I like the fact that the IF's look like their creators like 1 look Blue's creator, and you can be like, yep, that looks like something he would think of. Really, 1 of my only complaints is Blue (the knockoff Grimmace looking guy) it's not the fact his a bad character, but he is very...LOUD!😵💫 like Really Loud granted the theaters I went to might've had shotty speakers, and I have sensitive ears, but still, he's really loud other then that great
yeah... blue's not my favorite character either 😕
if looks good
I love what you do
Finally reviewing both movies at long last it looks like! Personally I didn’t care for IF. It was honestly pretty boring for the most part. It could’ve easily been better and the twist at the ending really didn’t make a lot of sense. I enjoyed Garfield overall. Really fun time. Definitely not perfect by any means but full of likeable characters and jokes too.
I saw IF, & I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I will admit that the movie made me cry, but that's ok. So, the weird thing is, is that my IF was actually in the movie! So, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE dragons, & there was an AWESOME dragon in the movie, & that's MY IF! 😁
I like dragons too
@@mirayoon1992 that's SO awesome 😃
I thought Garfield was ok and IF was great. I respect other people's opinions though.
I saw both movies as well, and to share my opinions on them, for The Garfield Movie, I didn't like it, but at the same time, I don't hate it. As for IF, it was really cute! I enjoyed it!
Thank you for giving a positive reaction to this movie. I really don't get why so many reviews are talking so badly about it. Did they not just sit back and enjoy the movie? Anyways, personally, I loved The Garfield Movie. So did my sister. I think this is the movie that Garfield himself and his fan base deserved. The world has been waiting 35 years for Garfield to have his own animated full length movie, ever since Garfield's Judgement Day got cancelled. In other words: It's About Time! And I'm really happy with this movie. Sure it's nothing particularly over the top or groundbreaking, but the movie is true to what makes Garfield the cat, Garfield the cat. Besides, Garfield's own creator Jim Davis was the executive producer. It's funny, enjoyable and a bit heartwarming. I do sense that they played it safe with this movie by keeping the story and the animation a bit simple, but I think that actually helped the movie overall. It makes the movie that much more relatable to the comics and the original popular show of the 1980s. As for the voice acting, I thought everyone actually fit their respective roles including Chris Pratt. Lorenzo Music will always be the undisputed best voice of Garfield, but (unlike the 2000s Garfield show, which I simply got used to Garfield's husky voice) I actually feel like Chris Pratt is a worthy successor to voice Garfield. I honestly think he pretty much nailed it and actually sounds like Garfield. I'm also excited to see the sequel they promised at the end. Since this movie was a bit safe as there was no guarantee to how the public would respond, I can imagine (that after The Garfield Movie's clear box office success) that the sequel will be a bolder movie building on this film's establishment's success.
I have seen If three times and I have enjoyed it every time. Profanity is mild, but that’s really the only problem I had with it.
I've been a big fan of Garfield since I was a kid. I bought every book I could get my hands on (thanks to schools book fair)...I watched all the series and special that were avaliable.
This movie was good, I could see some references to the origional stuff. The look is amazing, definitely spot on with the design. Still bugs me John's house wasn't Yellow in this...but it's fine.
Odie was may favorite part of this movie, he was not genius level smart in the original comic/shows. In fact Garfield frequently called him a dumb dog...also Odie wasn't John's Dog, he belonged to Lyman (John's friend). Lyman just left him with John one day, it wasn't until years later he was given a story as to where he went.
I really LOVED the homage to Lorenzo Music (Garfields original voice actor) in the beginning (music store called Lorenzo's music)
If felt like a long tv episode, nothing wrong with that.
Funny I just watched both of these films with a friend recently as a double feature! 😅
Cool to hear your thoughts;)
Garfield was really good
I think you should go on a Disney cruise. I am going on one in January of next year. I am so excited.
If Look Like ☺️Cute Movie & Blue Character Be My Favorite Character
Garfield fits Chris Pratt so much better than Mario. It's still an.... Interesting casting choice but I felt he did a better job with it. I haven't seen if yet but I like Ryan Reynolds so that's a plus
brian do you have a letterbox please let me know
I loved IF ❤ but... my younger brother didn't he thought it was boring :/
I loved Garfield film
And I loved if to
The Garfield Movie was my Birthday film and cause it came out on May 24, the same day as my birthday and along with Chaos Theory and I waited for that to happen again for 5 years since it last happened
My biggest problem with The Garfield Movie was it felt a lot more like a standard kids film with references to Garfield rather than a true Garfield film that’s true to the comics. Honestly I feel like you could replace Garfield with any generic character and it would be no different.
No, because it actually directly related to Garfield and what he would do, especially in a modern context. It’s way more than generic, not really even that if you truly look at it :-)
1:01 how dare you the live action Garfield movies are great man.
I mean I like the live action Garfield movies But they could be better Plus it's just Brian's opinion you're allowed to like them He doesn't have a problem with anyone's opinions Brian is the nicest person I know
I Loves Garfield Animated Movie & Garfield Series & Garfield Animated Movie is Best & Garfield Live Movie I do not Like all
I love Garfield! It’s a good movie! It’s about a cat named Garfield! He’s addicted to lasagna!!
This was one of the worst movies I’ve ever sat through.
