FLIR I've learnt to live with, it is what it is... but Target Detectors are just lame if it beeps you shoot and it's almost a guaranteed kill way to op
Coleo I like COD but it still isn’t on the same scale. Sure the gameplay is smoother but you still can’t destroy walls in COD like you can in Battlefield.
If the next Battlefield is set in modern day, i hope they bring back some of the ingredients that BF4 had such as the customization of the weapons, freedom of movement in the map and just the all out craziness that made it memorable. I just hope that they learned from both BF4 and BFV to fix their net code before release.
And no squad of 4 make it 5 or 6 and fix the classes to where carbines are for all classes and shotguns,then one main weapon class for set class. I hated what they did on 5 and 1
Dude I TOTALLY agree. If they had like the movement mechanics and stuff fo BF1 to make it more slick it'd be great; I thought BF4's gun/uniform/vehicle customization was perfect; if I was just getting absolutely wrecked I could just sit in the loadout editor building cool rifles. Some of the greatest maps too.
Honestly if the next Battlefield is set in modern day then they're probably going to need to implement something like Gunsmith in Modern Warfare or something similar. The idea of unlocking one gun and then being able to turn it into a different gun by changing out the components is such a genius move that i can't believe they didn't do it sooner.

Anon Boi idk the way they changed a lot of the mechanics for the weapons....like the snipers...and the destruction of buildings it just wasn’t the same bf I use to play but I respect your opinion
Jase I like the snipers, I think the sweet spot mechanic makes sense, and it rewards snipers for getting closer to the action, I also like their higher muzzle velocity (even though I like BF4’s too) because I feel like I’m actually shooting a bullet, instead of feeling like I’m trying to hit someone at 300 meters with a tennis ball launcher.
Anon Boi with that mechanic the farthest if I remember was like 75-100m for a one shot head shot kill meanwhile in bf3/4 if you take the time for a proper shot at 600m or any m you can get a one shot head shot kill
I think it's insane how they turned this game around and 7 years on it's still so good, they really pulled a masterpiece with BF4 and we didn't even realise it at the time

At the time of was unplayable thrash. Only after a year or so it got good. After a couple of years it got really good once all the DLCs were added and especially the bugs fixed.

Lol uh... bf4 was a fucking nightmare I was there for day 1... it was quite literally unplayable i came back 6 or 7 months later and dumped my life into it after it was fixed. Absolutely amazing game
It's really strange. Whenever I boot up BF 3, 4 or 1 I'm always amazed by how good it (still) looks, while the graphical style of BF V never impressed me and believe me I tried hard.
Austin King 5 doesn’t have the same grit and feel of 3 and especially 4. everything looks friendly and cartoonish. bf1 started it, but it got much worse in 5.

The only thing I hate more than the ucav are those locker lobbies with too many rules. No shotgun, no launchers, no c4, no claymores, no thermalscope, no snipers, no camping, no guns, no women, no dogs, no running with scissors, no reloading, no Donald trump. Man how am I supposed to play the game when literaly every feature of the game is forbidden?

lol if you played, UCAV was the ultimate cheese for a while. Kamikaze the scouting gadget into players bodies was the most surefire way to secure a kill. Got nerfed but still effective.. while the launcher is a battle pickup, supposed to incentive an area on the battleground
I actually love your content. It doesn't really matter what's relevant at the time, you're always willing to go back to games that you actually like. Definitely inspired me to go back and play BF4 again, it's a fucking masterpiece.
A modern-styled battlefield game could look and play soooooooo good with the current tech we have now a days. Battlefield 4 is the prime example of this, it released in 2013 and still looks and plays this well.
I think the tech is what messes with the game experience, they wanna put everything they can in a new game but they don't keep the sweet things as they are.

Remembering back to when you originally covered BF4, I believe those videos are what pushed me to get into PC gaming which has definitely changed my life for the better, inside and outside of video games. Crazy to think it's almost been 7 years since the game's release.
I think bf3 is a bit large game to be remastered, remastering bfbc2 would be sick since it smaller etc. they should remaster either one coz next bf isn't coming anytime soon.

Man those were the good days. Jack, levelcap, matimeo, X factor all were great players and fun to watch. COD or any other BF isn't as satisfying to watch or play like this imo. See how many things went down on screen. Jets flying into towers, helis crashing with loads jumping out, explosions going off all around and all while a crazy wind is blowing across the map.. u can't get this type of battlefield moments any any of the current FPS games with action dialled to 10x. Hope DICE hit's home with the next BF title. They've had more then enough chances to watch and learn. Keep these videos up mate. Try to get the squad back if possible. Hopefully seeing these videos still being watched by many will give Dice some push/motivation in the right direction.

@ 5:04 Jack, you got into a boat that was last damaged by a teammate (before you got in), and it ended up burning down/exploding, and since last damage was from teammate it counted as team kill.
Damn i just got the feelies watching this. Im getting bf4 again i miss knifing campers and hitting insane shots with the rfb. Bf4 just hits different than any other game it honestly has to be my favourite fps ever. It is still ahead of its time.

Yep population in bf4 is way more then bf1, was only able to find 3~4 available server on bf1 and 10~12 server on bf4 (NA weekends)

Bf4 will never die. This game was so special to me. I used to come home everyday to play with my clan when I was in 8th grade.

lol if you played, UCAV was the ultimate cheese for a while. Kamikaze the scouting gadget into players bodies was the most surefire way to secure a kill. Got nerfed but still effective.. while the launcher is a battle pickup, supposed to incentive an area on the battleground

Remembering back to when you originally covered BF4, I believe those videos are what pushed me to get into PC gaming which has definitely changed my life for the better, inside and outside of video games. Crazy to think it's almost been 7 years since the game's release.

Man those were the good days. Jack, levelcap, matimeo, X factor all were great players and fun to watch. COD or any other BF isn't as satisfying to watch or play like this imo. See how many things went down on screen. Jets flying into towers, helis crashing with loads jumping out, explosions going off all around and all while a crazy wind is blowing across the map.. u can't get this type of battlefield moments any any of the current FPS games with action dialled to 10x. Hope DICE hit's home with the next BF title. They've had more then enough chances to watch and learn. Keep these videos up mate. Try to get the squad back if possible. Hopefully seeing these videos still being watched by many will give Dice some push/motivation in the right direction.

@ 5:04 Jack, you got into a boat that was last damaged by a teammate (before you got in), and it ended up burning down/exploding, and since last damage was from teammate it counted as team kill.
