@@adastra753 It’s literally a modern FPS... It’s not a ww2 game that is limited by technology and weapon selection. That’s why there is so much variety, because you have the choice of many weapons, gadgets, etc. People will say “ guns are identical “, yet they will only use the AEK , & have no skill with other weapons. Every weapon has a engagement range that makes use of its stats. BFV & Hardline are victims of DICE doing a terrible job. BF1 was saved with help from DICE LA, but it STILL had less peak players across all platforms then bf4 did. Maybe modern titles aren’t for you! Keep playing your bf1/5. Bf4 is the perfect mix of skill vs knowledge based gaming .
@@destitute9399 it was absolute dog shit on release but what a game it turned out to be, I still preferred BF3 I think the issues at the beginning of 4 always left me a bit salty even when they did eventually get resolved.
I love bf4 as well but too many times has an enemy player turned some invisible glitch on. Still, awesome game

Agreed!! I played this game a few months back and i quitted because i can't really get a good ping on crowded servers (and gets boring after a while but that's probably because i've been playing matches in the same maps lol) but the moment in 6:28 is pure action movie shit right there!! It's fun though, only if i had a bit spare storage space for the game as i had to uninstall it to make space for some new games. (I'm using a 180GB SSD)

Notice how even when being killed he can chuckle, laugh and joke. This is battlefield. It is fun, where you can just sit down and play play few rounds and still be pretty happy with a negative KD by playing objectives
While most people just focus on getting good KD
The Veterans do it so they have kills, objectives and teamwork so the kd comes by itself. no need to camp somewhere :)

They completely destroyed the heli in bf4. They had such weak defense, you wouldn't fly more than a minute before 13 iglas, 2 aa and guy with a pistol shut you down

It was the first "next gen" Battlefield so they went all out with the graphics back then, when i played this on my ps4 it sounded like a jet engine

This game looks incredible still to this day and I love it. Especially on a PC using a 3440x1440p ultra wide curved monitor. I love this game.

The guns, movement, maps and pace was so much better in BF3 tbh. I know BF4 was better in many ways but man the guns and movement felt sluggish to me in comparison.

Just got back into this game a couple weeks ago. Still working on unlocking everything and having an absolute blast.
Was waiting for him to pick up the railgun while he was talking about all the Easter eggs on that map. Walked over it right at the end too.

@@jackfrags I wonder what Dice is thinking when there's a bunch of new players buying or returning to BF4. There's usually a queue to even get into a server. They simply can't release a game that doesn't continue the legacy if they care about their longtime core player base.

One of the most crucial things that made BF4 so amazing was the CTE, and having both devs and players that were dedicated to improving the game in both very big and very small ways. CTE's massive positive changes to the game are absolutely why it's still such an amazing game today.
Jack, your tutorials on BF4 easter eggs were crucial in my BF4 progress to max rank and very cool unlocks, such as the DICE dev camo and the Bow unlocks.. Such great times!
You captured so many BF4 moments in this video and it reminded me of why I love battlefield so much!
It’s like DICE doesn’t go on the internet. Everyone loves 4 and 3 overwhelmingly yet they decide to make the opposite of it with all the latest releases.
Knowing people theyd probably end up complaining of the gameplay being the same after a few releases and wouldve wanted something different. Cant please everyone. Im sure the new battlefield will satisfy most though from what weve heard

They just made the gameplay a lot more arcade, the maps were very choke heavy. It didn’t feel open. The terrain was boring.

This game was so ahead of its time. Almost a decade on and there still isn’t an FPS that even comes close to this. Hopefully BF6 will recapture some of the magic 🤞

@@NeightrixPrime THIS. Some servers in the Asian region only have the vanilla maps on rotation and no DLC maps whatsoever. The servers with DLC maps have very few to no players playing. Kinda sad tbh.

Seeing you play that game, just makes me want to jump back in. That game has for me, the right amount of foliage, detalis and vehicle/infantry combat that makes BF what it is. To think that a game from 2013 can still be that enjoyable means that it was the correct build :)

Started playing BF4 for the first time today.
My first vehicle kill was with a blowtorch because I vaguely remembered that it dealt damage and I was all out of munitions on my anti-MBT.
My first helicopter kill was me hitting a chopper out of the sky with a T-90A main gun...
This game is epic.

Thanks Jack! Battlefield 3/4 totally FUN! Still one of the best military shooters to play. I loved the team work aspect of them. Nothing is so satisfying as to find a good wingman/squad on BF3 or BF4.

Nothing has come close to the 1v1 tank battles in this game. It always felt like it had so much potential, especially on golmud railway over the hills or taking out choppers in the tunguska on Zavod 311. I reached the top 4% in Main battle tanks on stats. Such a great game that will never be replaced.

Redownloded it on series x since my PC is out of commission and I’ve no regrets been loving every second, so refreshing coming back to it after all these years especially after COD, battlefield 4 really was and still is the best.

Battlefield really has had a great series of games, for the most part. It’s interesting how Battlefield 4 is held in the highest regard for its sandbox gameplay, but Battlefield 1 is considered to be the most immersive and realistic. Personally I’ve had more fun on Battlefield 3, but my most fond memories are from Battlefield 1.
