Great job on the footbridge John! Love the lattice work - amazing detail. Nice job cutting it down to size - looks like it was designed that way. I really like the way you finished the ends of the stairs. It not only cleaned up the ends but, again, looks like it was made that way. Looks to be a fiddly little kit.
Hi John thanks for the kind comment. Yes there must be something wrong with us N gauge modellers to tackle stuff like this! 🤣🤣 I'm very happy how it turned out in the end.
Hey, John... that N-Scale is so fragile, and it definitely looked flimsy in parts, and you fixed it up brilliantly. Your fix for the footsteps was a great transformation from a bit off-looking to perfect! Excellent video and work.
Hi Anthony, thankyou. Yes very flimsy in parts and the kit almost made it into the round filing cabinet!! Glad I didn't give up very pleased with the end result.
Hi John! I've finally caught up! I've seen people build this kit before, and it looks incredibly tricky! I like how you've solved a lot of the problems that other people have had by using a bit of lateral thinking! Keep up the good work! Ian
Thank goodness Ian that you have finally caught up, all this typing is too much for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for looking at all my videos and for your kind words and support. John
Greetings to the Upside-down and hello John 👋 That looks like a nightmare of a kit to make 😱 it is a testament to your modelling skills that you got a fabulous end product 👏👏👏 Like Simon's Shed 😇 I tried the Ratio kit 😫 but I binned mine 😳 Surprised you didn't go with a Kato one 🤔 Very best wishes from the Emerald Isle ☘️
G'day Paul, at one point I almost gave up, but the detail on the lattice work looks so good I thought I'd better give it a go and rescue it. Very happy with the end result! 🥳 Can't say I even looked at the Kato one, hmm off to have a peep 👀
HinJohn, Nice kit and enjoyed the video! I’ve just got a new 3D printed Settle station platform bridge to replace one I had but far better detail but I just need to paint it now. Cheers Gary
Hi John - You have done a fantastic job on the N-Scenic kit. Far too much fiddling about for me so I am going to cheat and purchase the Ratio 248 Modular Covered Station Footbridge in N Gauge for £20 as it is an exact copy of the one at Bognor but minus the roof. Regards Chris
I really like that kit John but have avoided it because of how tricky it would be in N gauge. Now I’ve seen you do I may give it a go, well, possibly, lol! I like the 3D modifications I would have to build something from styrene having no 3D printer. Cheers John, John
Hi John, yes no problem with making the supports out of anything else really. I really like the fine detail on the lattice work on this kit that's why I persisted with it.
Well done! that bridge looks really nice especially with your mods, I don't know why but some of the N-scenic stuff is just to flimsy in card and would be better suited as a brass photo etch. All the best Tony.
Hi Tony and thanks. I agree some of the parts are so thin and not really suited to be done with card. I made a right old mess with the supports when glueing up the main parts!
😀😀 Have a great weekend!! ✔✔
Thanks!

Thanks Chris, yes it wasn't the easiest kit to put together, the Ratio one should be a doddle! 😄 Cheers John

Hi John, excellent job with the bridge. I got a kit similar to that one and gave up on it, it was way to fragile for my fingers
Hi Mark, thanks. I almost gave it the 'ol heave ho at one stage!!
Like 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks very much 👍👌
