So gorgeous!! I will definitely try these with your instructions. A question, after they are done, until I give them as a gift, do I store them in the fridge? Or at room temperature?
I live in UK so weather is pleasant most of the time it’s cold. I don’t put them in fridge. But if you love in a very hot place where you think chocolate will melt then put it in the fridge.
@@MamiPapi I can’t be 100 percent sure. When I kept mine in the fridge for 4 days they didn’t sweat. I even froze one to see if it ruins it but it was perfectly fine once defrosted.
What white chocolate brand do u recommend for these hearts? Can I use Tesco value white chocolate? Or sainsbury white chocolate?? Or it has to be expensive chocolate??
You need to let it sit until it starts thickens up a bit and not too runny. I can’t tell you exact tone as depends on the weather where you live in too.
Hey there is it possible to make the chocolate heart with nothing inside ?? How long can we make them before delivery? How to keep them fresh ? Thank youuu
Are you pressing the cake mix too hard ? As this can cause the chocolate shell cracking. Try to be gentle. And when taking them out first release the sides then gently push it out from the bottom. Mine never cracks unless I put too much pressure.
You need oil based colours to colour the chocolate. The other fondant food gel colours will serve the chocolate. So I wouldn’t recommend that. Rather wasting the chocolate invest in the colour mill chocolate colouring. I hope I answered your query. Thank you Peace and love Faryal
Hello! Your video and cake hearts are amazing! But I have a few questions, does the cake heart melt when in room temperature? I mean does the chocolate coating melt when in room temperature?
Yes if the weather is hot where you live it will melt but you can use candy melts instead they hold their shape better in hot weather. I keep my left over chocolate in the fridge. Hope this helps Thank you
If you use candy melts/compound chocolate (no cocoa butter in the ingredients) like in the instructions, they'll remain hard at room temperature. There's also a process you can use to make "real" chocolate (the kind with cocoa butter) hard at room temperature, called tempering, but it's way easier to use candy melts.
I don’t have the recipe for vanilla cake on my channel at the moment but I do have the chocolate one. To be honest you can use even the shop bought cake to make it easier for you.
@@ashikarinza3759 not to keep it in heat. That’s all I can say. Otherwise use candy melts. Candy melts are not chocolate so they hold up their shape but I personally don’t like the taste of it hence I don’t use it.
Absolutely love these thank you for sharing

@@Scrumptiouscakesbyfairy Yes definitely hot in Australia! But will they last a few days in the fridge? or will they 'sweat'?

No doesn’t have to be expensive. You can use tescos or Sainsbury’s chocolate.
Hi, how long should you let the chocolate cool after taking out of the microwave?
You need to let it sit until it starts thickens up a bit and not too runny. I can’t tell you exact tone as depends on the weather where you live in too.
Sis.... yeyyy. Love your video

You can make them couple of days in advance. You can make them with just chocolate.
Thank you x
how do you take the hearts out without cracking them? mine keep cracking

Yes I agree - also maybe add one more thin layer of chocolate before gently adding in cake 🍰
Soo cute
Hello dear how much candy melts need for it? Can I use chocolate chips instead candy melts?
You can definitely use Chocolate chips. I used 200gm.
Love it
Hello
I wanted to ask you if we can use regular gel colours to colour our chocolate?
Your work is awesome ☺
You need oil based colours to colour the chocolate. The other fondant food gel colours will serve the chocolate. So I wouldn’t recommend that. Rather wasting the chocolate invest in the colour mill chocolate colouring.
I hope I answered your query.

The links are in the description box.

How long should I let the chocolate to cool?
Until it sets hard usually takes 15-20mins in fridge.
I found the mold on Etsy 😊

I prefer ordering from cake tools sites as I order multiple items and it saves me postage.
My geo hearts melt after making why is it? What can I do to avoid it
If you live in hot weather they will melt for sure. They are chocolate and chocolate melts in heat unfortunately.

The cake craft company has really bad reviews. I was going to order from there but people were saying they didn’t get their orders :(
I always buy from them and never had any problems. Try The cake decorating Company that is good too. I buy from them too sometimes.
