Inline Skate Maintenance - Cleaning Skate Bearings

This summer I have been skating the dusty and sand iced roads of a the Italian seaside summer town Cervia. My inline skate bearings are crying and screaming for attention, and a good service is in order to keep them rolling their best. Cleaning skate bearings is not difficult with the right tools, so I made a little video to show you how I clean my bearings, so you too can keep your skates rolling like new.
As promised I have listed all the tools, and the amazon links where necessary to purchase the tools required to perform bearing maintenance.

2. Glass jam jar (without the jam obviously)
3. Kitchen Paper Towels
4. 5mm Allen Key (the same one used for remove your wheels from your skates)

Can the ABEC bearings be cleaned this way........cause i think the cover is irremovable

my skates came out of the very slow and they dont spin for more than 2 seconds how can i fix this

Nice. Can you tell me, if the cleaning process is the same with closed bearings? That would be nice.

Closed bearings are more difficult to clean, usually i just replace them. You can try and pry open the case but its not worth the trouble. But I don't speak from experience.... sorry

Should wheels be rotated? One the outer part of my wheels are worn

Yes wheels should be rotated. In the end the more often you rotate, the less worn the wheel profile will feel. The rotation order depends on if you have 3 or 4 wheel skates. So much out there on how to do this. Most European skate shops have a youtube presence and make a great job of explaining how to do it. Even powerslide have great maintenance tutorials.
