Reminds me of Onfim, a boy who lived in now-Russia in the 1200s. We have uncovered his drawings and homework assignments, and it is the most fascinating thing to me. It's unimportant, but it really shows we are all human, no matter the time period

I would imagine on an M1 Mac, especially the new models they just released, it would scream ahead of the competition for compatibly priced workstations for video editing. Seeing one in person scrub through multiples streams of 8K video simultaneously without breaking a sweat is pretty incredible.
Adobe seems to take forever to optimize their software while knocking out any major bugs. Hell, multiple times I’ve experienced when they knock out major project stopping bugs and introduce new ones.
I wonder if anyone watches one of these videos and goes “wait a minute, that dingus was mine!” That would be an interesting story.

That blue Sony Walkman looks almost the same as the one I have. Found it back in a box of old stuff. I'm really surprised how that thing still worked, and still had decent battery charge. I'm using it now every so often and still works like a charm.

I've had my walkman for around 12 years. The body is all fucked up and broken but it still works perfectly fine. I never had an iPod, but I'm sure it was comparable. I took that thing everywhere.

I had that sony one. Got it in 2009, helped me through a lot of graveyard shifts. Gave it to my uncle so he could have tunes in his old truck. Still has it, still works great to this day.

The Sansa clickwheel nugget from the previous lucky dip was the first MP3 player I used in any major capacity, and the Philips nugget from this video got me through middle school. I’m still waiting for the day when I see a Samsung YP-K3 in the nugget bag. Hands down one of the best MP3 Samsung ever made and for 2007 it really put the nano on a run for its money.

I remember lusting after one of them when they were new lol. Tempted to go buy all the old tech I wanted when I was younger, but I literally have no use for anything less than 64GB in an MP3 players (and USB DAC makes the vast majority of them redundant now anyway; just buy a Shanling UA1 and hook it up to your phone instead of dealing with another device).
Was just thinking the same thing. I found mine to be amazing at the time and sound quality was pretty good. Although I only had the 1GB storage one
