When Jess says “I made sure she was ok” was the first time I realized he really cared for Rory more then himself! But one that also got me in my feels was Rory’s graduation speech! It always makes me cry!!
When Rory got mad at him when he got his car back from Luke and said I love you to Rory. I think that Rory dosent understand what he has been through and how he feels about her. From our point of few we realize that he really loved her and that he is truly kind and loving, he’s just been through a lot. And Rory dosent realize that. Personally dean is puppy love to me but jess is a real love.

Love Jess. Jess is the one person who took a crappy situation and made something of himself. With the exception of Lane being true to herself and Paris I guess. All of these 3 attached themselves to Rory and didn't realize how crappy a friend she was. Jess got it the worst of them.

Jess' life would've probably been worse. Lol 🤣 His character became too good for her. Honestly he was more genuine and honest as a person, more willing to work hard. It's like Rory put all of her efforts into school to get into University then started to run out of steam and wanted to live life. Which is fine. But she wasn't even honest with herself. Seeing her return to Dean was disgusting tbh though real. When she says he was the best in the reunion series...🤢 Like WHAT??! He was the WORSt even half the time they were dating initially. Then she barks at Jess when he's taking a massive chance to be with her, holding the candle and not f***ing around on a partner to do it. Rory grew into a weakling honestly. Or at least not introspective enough to make better choices. She really fit well into the lifestyle of party planning and hosting. It made sense with her entire personality since the beginning really (disregarding her rebellious immaturity) and even the way she was around her mom who had the catering company etc. She stuck with being a journalist even though we don't ever see her being very good at this type of thing. She does sort of ok at the party with Logan, she even was decent at working with the team at the Newspaper. But it was usually in a planner capacity. Ironically she could've possibly been a journalist that was part of that high and ritzy lifestyle had she stayed in Logan's circle more actively. Different path than Jess is my point. Plus she again was the other woman/skank AGAIN... with Logan when that was completely unecessary. She should've stayed with Logan and let Jess live his best life ... With someone more transparent, real, and down-to-earth.
The one that really gets me is when Lorelei is in Luke's diner after closing and says "I just, I feel like I'm never gonna have it. The whole package, you know. That person, that couple life. And I hate admitting it because I fancy myself Wonder Woman but I really want it. The whole package..."
I watched this scene while going through a rough patch in my life where I felt like I was doing everything wrong and like I was failing everyone. It really broke me and I had a really good cry along with lorilia and Rory.

The Jess ones really broke me. And then when he tried to get Rory back, when he was finally ready, and she said no, I genuinely cried. Milo’s acting is amazing, he deserves an Oscar.

But it still was crazy immature of me and immoral. I felt Rory was too smart for that. It was disgusting. Then to have Jess throw himself at her feet basically.....but he deserved better.
and the final episode when Richard tells Lorelai that it takes a remarkable person to inspire all this (the town throwing Rory a graduation party).. it makes me cry because it's so beautiful and also the last lines that Richard said to Lorelai before actor Edward Hermann passed away 😭

The birthday one of Loralei actually shattered me, i cried so much in that scene because it shows how much she’s grieving about losing her dad, and she never properly got to mourn him because she had to keep Emily and Rory in one piece after his death. Loralei is a beautifully flawed character, beautiful nonetheless❤❤
*I just watched A Year in the Life and was crying half the time. Everytime I saw Richard's portrait, I lost it. "It was the best birthday I ever had" had me bawling my eyes out.* ❤

one of the saddest lines that made me cry was in season 4 episode 18.. kirk had hid the easter eggs and he had to find the last 12.. he didnt sleep for two days and taylor treated him horribly.. his line “i failed taylor..” made me cry because while i watching that episode.. i had got into a bad fight with my whole family and it left me crying.. idk something abt how realistic this show can be sometimes makes me feel something.. i feel like kirk deserved sm more

“It was the best birthday” breaks my heart, and also “the dazzling woman from whom I received my name and my life’s blood” has me crying every time
The birthday one of Loralei actually shattered me, i cried so much in that scene because it shows how much she’s grieving about losing her dad, and she never properly got to mourn him because she had to keep Emily and Rory in one piece after his death. Loralei is a beautifully flawed character, beautiful nonetheless❤❤

one of the saddest lines that made me cry was in season 4 episode 18.. kirk had hid the easter eggs and he had to find the last 12.. he didnt sleep for two days and taylor treated him horribly.. his line “i failed taylor..” made me cry because while i watching that episode.. i had got into a bad fight with my whole family and it left me crying.. idk something abt how realistic this show can be sometimes makes me feel something.. i feel like kirk deserved sm more
