    Great video! Big smallies....nothing better. That musky was something too. No match for light spinning gear! I feel ya on the gas. That's quite a trip at 20 miles! Seemed well worth it though.

      I'm going to say right off of wolf Island., Kingston. You can tell by the windmils. And then the separate island off the main island looks like it could be simco island. So he was right between the 2. Great fishing around wolf. At the start of the video it looked like he could of been at main duck Island. Judging by the very clear water!

    Where in Lake Ontario is this port union? Or Pickering?

    Too bad you have to wait a week longer now to fish for them. Now you practically have to be a boat owner to fish for anything bigger than a 1/4 lb

    Nothing better than promoting bed fishing. Hope you had fun making the fishery worse. This is exactly why our fisheries all go to shit.

      I have to agree. Great quality production and all but you have to leave those bass alone if they’re still on the nest. Legal or not, doesn’t make it the right thing to do when they’re so vulnerable. I don’t target SM bass until mid July at minimum, gives them a chance to keep as many of the little buggers alive as they can. Makes it a little less easy than picking them off the beds. Jmho.

      Are you a scientist who’s tested that theory?

    • @DanielSon69
      @DanielSon69 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TimSpencerFishing if your comment was directed at me- not a scientist but a hard core smallmouth fisherman. It isn’t a secret that bass are territorial and guard the nest aggressively...and that when they are pulled from the nest, other fish like perch, rock bass and bluegills will try to eat the eggs/fry from the nest. This is hardly scientist territory. This is what I’ve observed while fishing, snorkelling, swimming at the cottage.
      Is it just too much to ask to err on the side of caution?
      Are you a scientist that has evidence that there is no harm in targeting bass on the nest?
