I don't drink anything who has alcohol including wine or smoking. But it's good to listen to this message. I only drink deacaf tea. But I heard wine can use at dinner table which is very good for the heart. But as a Christian single mom I had to set good example to my children. If I went somewhere or a get together in my family they offered me drink and I refuse, They look at me funny. Thank you you for your teaching. I remember years a go I was planning to have my own business certain individual suggest me open a liquor store. As an evangelist who preach who encourage people to serve God or lead people to Christ. I didn't think it was a good idea to do so.

You made the right decision, the Bible says woe to those who provide strong drink to others which would definetely be a liquor store, God bless you

If you are unsure whether drinking wine is a sin, do not drink it, because no where in the Holy Bible are you commanded to drink any wine, fermented or unfermented.

Leviticus 10:9 “You and your descendants must never drink wine or any other alcoholic drink before going into the Tabernacle. If you do, you will die. This is a permanent law for you, and it must be observed from generation to generation.
1 Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, to proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light"

Hey Giant how are you doing with this battle. It’s has destroyed 2 marriages of mine and I’m tired. God spoke to me and said you’re at a crossroad it’s either heaven or hell you choose. I decided to stop. It’s not easy and I just made that decision but I’m going to stay in the word and pray and fast and surround myself with saved people as I have given my life to the Lord.

When exactly is an individual Christian officially drunk? How many ounces of alcohol before one crosses that line? What blood alcohol concentration makes a person officially chemically drunk? .02? .05? .08? Until we can find that exact official chemical measurement, we can not say consuming alcohol as a Christian is acceptable to Jesus. It is better that all of us Christians promote, support, teach and practice abstinence from all mind altering chemicals, alcohol being the most harmful. Praise Jesus.

My brother, lets get together and make some fermented wine. No wrong with it anywhere in the bible unless you want to get drunk and that is a sin because it selfish without honoring our Father. You speak nice but need to get some knowledgeable scriptures. Did you go to a bible school or learn on your own? Best wish to you, teach only what will not get you in the doghouse because of lack of understanding.

Tom Morrison Thanks for The comment, but I doubt Dr. Evans will ever see it. I'm sure he doesn't follow my channel! But if you'd like, you could try contacting him from his website: tonyevans.org/about/the-urban-alternative/
For another perspective, you might want to listen to a message given by Dr. John MacArthur:

      Blessings to you!

31Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.
32At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
