Don't look at God through your circumstances. Look at your circumstances through God's word.

FRANKLIN DELANORE hi Franklin. I have been facing a battle for almost 2 years and I continue to believe God will turn the situation around. Through this time I have spent much more time seeking Him in prayer and He has 'highlighted' to me various situations in His Word where He came through for people even when during their circumstance it looked like He wasn't moving. To me what Cora said means not to minimize God because the circumstance looks impossible, but rather look back through the victories in His word and know He's the same God for you as He was back then. Sometimes all we have to hold to is faith...but that's all we need. I've seen God work things through me during this time. I've grown. I know He will work it all out according to His plan and I choose to trust Him. He has an amazing track record. :) I hope that helps.

I needed this right now. Currently having tunnel vision, looking at where I am now, asking God why he’s forgotten about me. But like Pastor Evans said, God is in control and he is allowing bad to happen for good reasoning! God has not forgotten about me or any of us!

"God as your reference point"....I find when I don't remember this, the confusion of life creeps in but the minute I find my reference point with God first, order is restored.
So true. Sometimes trials can be so confusing, it seems the Lord is MIA and it's all random with no purpose... I have to remember God and that He is ever present and knows and has a plan

I know this is 3 years later Natasha, but I’m so happy to hear that for you and your child. God is soooo good and like Pastor Dr. Tony Evans says, God knows what he is doing! In 2020 I am being healed from a 10 year battle of medication dependency (addiction) whichever you want to call it. The point is, is it happened for a reason and now I’m being healed by Christ alone. Very Long battle & very slow recovery but it’s being done and I cannot be more grateful.
God knows what He is doing.....therefore do not fear. Press on and praise Him anyway in all things. Be encouraged!

I feel like a Joseph in a strange land, betrayed, cast away, rejected, and neglected by the one I stood by through thick and thin, despite the pain and hurt am going through, i trust God am asking him to give me eyes to see, and ears to hear what's going on in the supernatural.
Lord I forgive him, i pray that healing, and wholeness be restored, and may he be set free from the bonds of wickness.
Lord please show me where you are taking me in this season of my life, let me be strong, and stand steadfast in your will as I go through.

This is a perfectly timed word and God made sure I would hear it at this exact point in my life. It has given me so much strength, courage, wisdom, understanding, and comfort in a time of intense uncertainty, pain, and confusion. At the same time I have great joy knowing that God has prepared each and every step along this path and I'm rejoicing in the fact that it all leads me to Him. May His perfect will be done in me on earth as it is in heaven.

This is such an important challenge… Especially when ppl that you consider close to you hurts you.
God does not test us, he already knows what our reactions would be, but he allowed testing to reveal himself in us, or through us. He sometimes allows testing to bring us into subjection to reveal our attitude of pride and judgment against others

I love the way Dr Evans preaches because he challenges the mind and encourages you to search the Bible on your own.
I feel like a Joseph. So many similarities. I’m in my 5th year, I can’t say I’ve coped very well most times, But I’ll continue to stand in faith for our God is Sovereign 🙏
I trust Him. More than I ever have in my life. It's just that as one of these trials really hurt emotionally. He knows what He is doing. So I'll dry my tears with one hand and hold onto Him with the other.

We are currently going through a very difficult time in our marriage of 43yrs, of which I am responsible. I know God wants me to find healing and deliverance, and my wife to find healing, grace, forgiveness and eventually reconciliation. Sometimes I allow Satan to get into my head with thoughts of doubt and loneliness. I need to trust in God, have faith and patience . PSALMS 46:10- BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD!!!

I have my mother living with me, she can no longer live alone. She has reminded me daily, actually my whole life, 58 yrs old, that she never wanted me. I just keep saying LORD I TRUST YOU!
She may not of wanted you but guess what God wants you. God loves you. God is your strength. She don't want you but your looking after her. The stone that the builders refused will be the head corner stone. She just don't deserve you but God blessed her to have you. I feel your pain. I am so glad I loved on my siblings from the same womb, and "their" children from birth. Andrew and i was there for births, and to drive them to the hospital when the Dad's weren't available, long term health crisis, supported my nieces and nephews ETC.
I needed this sermon!! This was for me! I had a life full of darkness, but I finally came around and surrendered my life to God ,a year and a half ago. God has raised me up, and brought me in. But in this season I’m feeling like I’ve started to go backwards in my finances, and emotionally torn. I’m trying to see Gods will in this current world. Thank you, ima praise God u til I see a breakthrough!❤praise Jesus ❤❤

Amen!!! Joseph's story is one of my favorite, next to Paul. I didn't know we had something in common. I too suffered a life altering football injury (same as yours) my senior year in high school down in La Marque, TX. I ended up losing my scholarship opportunity with the University of Arkansas. The difference is my first thought was about losing my scholarship. God has a way of shaping us and he is still shaping me. I was told I'd never play again, but ended up playing college football and serving 20 years in the military, following my time at the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. I've been through so much in life and am going through right now, but I know who my savior is, I know what he showed me and I know he is preparing me for my destiny. God bless you.
