This advice is good for someone who has programming experience a few months,
For an absolute beginner I doubt people can wrap their head around the async nature of js or Event-driven architecture of node.js ( which the majority of people go with for the backend after learning js ) .
When I started learning Web dev I spent nearly 1 week on HTML&css and 2-3 weeks on Js, its crucial to understand a few advanced topics apart from things you mentioned.
closure, HOF, hoisting, DOM,function constructors, Aysnc, promises, working dates, Prototypal inheritance, OOPS ( now more of function programming aspect / Function design) and Few Data structures.
Before diving into the backend, clearing these concepts beforehand will save a lot of time on silly mistakes rather than learning on the fly.
I agree. CSS is not just about adding colors, but we need to have solid understanding of box model, positions, flexbox, grid, etc.
Also, I agree with the javascript topics that you have mentioned.
Hi , when did you started learning web dev?
Also , are you from CS background or switched to CS from any other field ?
Please tell me if you got placement / job as of now and how long did it took you to learn full MERN / MEAN stack ?
Thanks . Asking this because I have already spent 3-4 months and still struggling with JS (HOF , and destructuring mainly ). Also , the part I have done , I have done it properly and hold a good grip on it (HTML , CSS and JS - till Error handling and prototyping)) But still I am not feeling that much confident even after practising them
i feel like , I wont be able to get a job even if I finish course by August 2023 end (I am switching to CS from Civil constructions
Industry )
hey.. i wanna know where did you learn JavaScript from ... and i also want to know how you retain these concepts for long term, is it by building projects or practicing coding questions
🎉❤
Dear, Kumar Sir
I have a non-tech background
Can I start Web development without HTML and CSS
Should I start with JavaScript
Famous resources according to you.
@@tajjamalabbas Recommended method will be to start with HTML , then CSS and then JS.
So that you start with easy things so that you can build confidence and learn them in a systematical manner.
However some bootcamps like MASAI start with JS directly.
Rest choice is yours , if you have a sharp mind and grasp concepts quicly and easily then u can start with js 😂

03:34 Learn HTML, JavaScript, and CSS basics
04:37 Learn JavaScript and connect to backend APIs
05:45 Understand HTTP requests and responses

yo bro thank you
Thank you so much 😊
Happy to help 😄.
You're a very good teacher. No fluff, just straight to the point. Just subbed.
Even Chat GPT wouldn't break it down in such a easy genuine way. There is no better way to escape mediocrity than this. A very underrated road map for any front end developer. May your wish of 100 more Harkirat's come true! ❤ You are amazing!
best video , no bullshit , straight to point who wants to get a brief for who wants to learn frontend ...
Thanks alot for this video, was like in tutorial hell but now learning proper fundamentals and was getting used to CSS only but those things you mentioned just connect this and that DAMN that's a game-changing thing diverting to that approach ASAP. Creating an HTML page right itself and Importing a Js file in no time. Just solved LeetCode and saw this video. Thanks and Keep guiding us like this Sir
Damn i liked what you shared, this very well specifies the roadmap on learning webdev. Just what im needing. Thanks!
I was searching for "what do I need to know in order to build a website using react" , this video completely answers my question . Great job!
After days of searching , asking chat gpt to explain things , researching google , i came across this video . This is exactly what i was looking for . Thank you so much for giving such a clear idea. Those who are confused about web development , this is the only video you need to watch .
Congo for 200k.. more to go..
Godspeed 🙌
For HTML and CSS watch Bro Code videos. Very simple and easy to understand. You can finish within couple of hours.
really, we get all the concept?
also from supersimpledev.
@@AvikNayak_ i watched both, they're both very good
Bro am doing Html and Css course by Bro Code at the moment and I must say he’s really good at what he’s teaching. Quality content. 👍
I concur with this. Bro code is good
This is the minimum fare guidance I wish I understood earlier. May be I was waiting to learn from my experience. And here u articulated the flaw in the flow of my learning.
Thanks for the guideline.
I never comment on anything but this seems to be a video which will clear every ambiguity I have about the whole JavaScript and Frameworks I need to learn for being a good Full- stack

as some one who is just beginning Frontend this video was 'soothing' and reduced much of my anxiety seeing the mountain of things to learn.
U deserve more subs. Thank you so much for the video ❤
Thank you from bottom of my heart. Maybe ydk in twitter people are bullish pn learning html, css, js. And i thought I should be master at css and js and build lots of project.
But I never liked it that much , it because overwhelming eventually. Even I thought leaving web dev as I wanted to learn high level concepts. You cleared my pov tonight.
If you are tenacious enough nothing is overwhelming. Be curious and write code some code whatever it is that your heart desires!
should i master css grid or that part i.e layout or it can be done easily in react ?
last few seconds shows it takes a lot of effort to make a quality video :D
No body can understand the code generated by ChatGpt nor one can not have the ChatGpt written the desired code until and unless one has sufficient basic knowledge of programming. I am giving one example where I struggled a lot to understand the basic of middleware to intercept the get and post request but it was only clear in the class of Harkirat.
It's truly surprising people learn React before JavaScript and i don't blame them react treat itself as it's something totally different from javascript and has frw things in common.
Congratulations for 100 videos bro🎉🎉🎉🎉
Bro looks super happy and active after the course, loved it
Feedback: Instead of Hardsubbing your video can you please attach them as a subtitle file. So the people who want to view subtitles can view through it and people who dont will not. The hardsub looks blurry when we stream video at low quality.
+1
wo bhi galat hai, Reactor View likha hai "React or Vue" ko
Its most probably generated from a AI tool that's why there are some errors and looks blurry

If u dont need subtitles dont look at it, and if u need turn on auto caption.
TH-cam default captions are better and accurate than the ones used in the video

After watching this video , i can say that i am on correct path. I have learnt html & css very quickly and then i bought a course on js which covers all the above mentioned topics and js is gonna end spon❤

I noticed that your communication is so good Can you make a video on English communication how much English should we know as a remote developer
Let me answer that question for you. You should know enough English to communicate your views. That is it. Nothing more than that. If you pause if you make mistakes while talking and correct them instantly, it's completely fine. As long as you are able to communicate to your client your job is done.
get your basic grammar down (like the middle school grammer book is priceless) and consume lots of english content
You're a true educator and mentor
Best Guide out there!
Thanks for this!
that was really good one !
The last part was awesome XD
Thank you

Teach Yourself: In 24 hours you won't have time to write several significant programs, and learn from your successes and failures with them. You won't have time to work with an experienced programmer and understand what it is like to live in a C++ environment. In short, you won't have time to learn much. So the book can only be talking about a superficial familiarity, not a deep understanding. As Alexander Pope said, a little learning is a dangerous thing.
I watch Only half your video And At this I want to say sir good. I love this and I want this type of video
People said they learned html and css in a couple hour. I agree. But you watch videos, the difference appear when they start write their own code. Maybe you use some tags and it work but have no idea whether they are more suitable than other tags or not. Css even more harder. I think you unsderstand it but you have to do something with it. That i learned from some channels and i still doing that😊😊😊 my english seems stupid😂😂😂
This actually is excellent advice.
for me, this is one of the most important video in my journey to learn code.
Pls continue the full stack series or any deep dives we need indpeth videos
vo ni hoga bhai,
Its better to go step by step rather than jumping back to html/css tutorial once you're stuck.
I'd suggest give 15 days to HTML/CSS and about a month to practice and understand evrything of JS.
Go to react and never come back.
You should know how things are done using vanila HTML/CSS/JS
