  • Democratic Representative of North Carolina, Kathy Manning, discusses her time visiting Columbia University amid the ongoing protests and shares what she'd like to see done to address the protests on college campuses. She also talks about Speaker Mike Johnson set to visit Columbia University Wednesday and states that the Speaker can bring her bipartisan bill addressing antisemitism to a vote to make some progress. Rep. Manning speaks with Kailey Leinz and Joe Mathieu on Bloomberg's "Balance of Power."

    This is not and never has been a racial or religious division. It is about a moral and legal crime. Any group in similar circumstances should be defended. And any individual who prioritizes their personal comfort over an ongoing atrocity is being selfish and demonstrating poor moral judgement. Of course they will not have the respect and admiration of their peers, that has to be earned.
