Last time I found someone like Melissa Hunter on TH-cam, it was Rachel Bloom. Then I discovered she was already in season 3 of an excellent network series. Someone needs to cast Melissa in something that, well, pays her what she deserves. Something with more than 1000 views and 6 comments.

FYI, while I presume that trick was not actually performed on set, the easiest way to perform it in real life is with a type of trick deck where every other card is identical and slightly shorter. You can easily force that card and then pull out other cards. There are other ways to do it that are more advanced and don't require a trick deck. But a magician at her beginner level would do it the way I suggested. I taught my 7 year old daughter to perform that trick over the summer.
