Thank you so much for all your lessons. I've learned a great deal.❤ Your videos are extremely helpful. Thank you!
I teach English in a Language School in Cuba. All your lessons have been quite useful for me to develop the communicative approach in my Own lessons. Thank you so much.
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you learned some new idioms. 👍
(to be) on thin ice. Make it "skating on thin ice" for a deliberate act. That is a nice idiom.
I thank you a lot and I am just on the cloud-nine after watching this English lesson and learning a dozen of idioms. Wes you are not only one of the best but also one of the most handsome teachers we have got. Watching your videos is not like biting the bullet and we don't even have to pay through our noses for watching them. Sometimes, I feel regret that I wish I could get to know about your channel earlier but as they say hindsight is always 20/20 so why should I bother myself and focus on what is at hand. As a matter of fact, your lessons also help in blowing off some steam and channelize my energies into the right direction . .. ❤❤
Glad to hear that! Thanks for your comment. 😊
Thank you Teacher.

Estimado Profesor. Supongo que en Español la idea de " in hindsight it was 20/20" if you would put some regret in it sería "Todo tiempo pasado fue mejor".
I've been an English teacher in Brazil for over 30 years! And I'd like to say I simply love your lessons ...could I talk to you asking for a few tips ???
I badly in search of English Language teaching job in non native countries.

Blow the mind
Absolutely 💯, l am a fan of watching and listening to your attractive presentation. Teacher Wes thank you so much ❤️!
Teacher Wes
It's nice lesson, would you please gather this phrases with story so that I'll pay off.
I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for checking out the lesson. 👍
Hi Wes, you've done an amazing job in this video as usual, and the PDF is awesome as well, but it's a pity that the file is too heavy. I suppose it's heavy because you want it to look more attractive, but it would be nice if it were lighter, even though it may not look as nice. I hope you find a solution for the next PDFs. Thanks a lot, Wes!
Wow! That "mum's the word" has blown my mind. As far as I knew it meant kind of: mum has spoken (who has the last word) and nothing else to argue or to be said. Spot. Silence from now on.
Thanks fort those priceless videos where you let us guess the idiom and the meaning. It definetly helps them to stick to our brains 😅❤❤ Regards from Spain
Glad you learned something new. Thanks for sharing. 😊
I always appreciate your hard work ❤
Thanks so much! Glad the lesson was helpful. 😊

I really appreciate your teaching style. However, I find the videos more effective when you get straight to the point without waiting for responses. This allows us to focus more on your explanations. Nevertheless, I want to reiterate that you are amazing and do excellent work.
Glad you enjoyed the lesson. Thanks for your comment. 😊
i found this video about idioms to be one of the most useful i've ever seen

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for your comment. 🤗
Great lesson , thanks 🙏🏻🌷✨🙏🏻
Glad you liked it! I hope you learned some new idioms. 😉
Actually there's only one idiom that is totally new to me and it's "hindsight is 20/20". Honestly, previously i only knew "in hindsight". so i'm really delighted to know this related expression. Also now i know it comes from a scenario where the optometrist says "you have 20/20 vision". it's always fun to get to know a bit of American culture while learning English. And for other idioms, i kind of review them a bit, which is great! I'm quite engaged in this lesson and you're legit~🤟
Thanks for commenting & checking out the lesson. 👍

so..... mum is the word?..... what a strange expression.
Thanks for your comment. Keep in mind you would use the contraction, mum's, when using this expression. 😉
@@InteractiveEng Yes, of course, I understood that :) I just don't really understand the logic behind this expression. What does it mean to say that someone is the word? and why would it be mum? sounds meaningless.
