None of them have high SP skills, with the most SP on most of their moves is 300 (excluding Sharena and Anna's 4* weapon which are both 400. Olivia's Ruby Sword+ doesn't count because Arena applies the skills ORIGINAL value, which means it counts Ruby Sword+ as 300 SP instead of 450 SP). Players skill and unit choice play a huge role too. If I can reach tier 20 with Sharena, Anna, and unmerged Male Robin on my team, Sages could definitely reach tier 20 if he tried.
Bold Figher . . . Warding Breath . . . I'm going to need a moment to process how patently unfair that is. And how any melee Armor unit can run it, not just Fallen Robin.
Since this is arena assault, there are plenty of ways to find good counters for it. Having some Armor Smashers, or Caeda with Wing Sword at hand helps a lot to deal with most of them too. If you have a reinhardt with Moonbow Quicken Pulse, that handles it a lot too. (Lastly, not to mention, if you bring along Lightning Charm, you can probably oneshot most of these guys.)

Ok so the biggest threat on his team had to be either the Jakob of the Effie, at least for me. My Olivia can very easily butcher his Robin, and his BK stands no chance against my Sharena. My Robin can kill his Jakob with no issue, but it's just about getting him into Jakob's range without Grima absolutely destroying him.

You only have a chance to find him if your team can meet other players with scores of around 714 - which is on the upper level of most other tier 20 players. Tier rank does not matter, I can be matched with those in Tier 17-20 when I'm only scoring around 700. Despite being tier 20 (and will be kicked out today), I don't only fight tier 20 opponents, it depends on your team comp and what score range they hit. I recently learned that I cannot simply put my 4 best units as I won't get any defense wins despite being higher scoring units. I've had to scale back a little to pull in a defense win.

Bad luck with the choice of map. The trench square in front of Roderick prevented him from attacking and dragging BK back at the start. Without that trench blocking you could have won for sure.

My fights are between 728 to 738, and only some whale teams can be hard, maybe because 90% of the whales don't really know how to make a good defense team... Yes it is, since either arena or arena assualt, despite the WIN, you will need to restart the entire run if you want to get the highest score that week. When a unit dies, you make less points and thus will either need to complete the run, or start over to try again for the highest score. This matters when you are trying to move up a tier, maintain a tier in either arena or arena assault.
rice farmer Yup, 40+10 which means that you merged other 10 copies of the same unit, which by itself is not hard on 3 or 4 stars but in 5 stars is straight up screwed up, one of the reasons that Sages's team is so disgusting it is because he not only pulled Grima Robin(Which is probably one of the most powerful units in the game) but he also got 10 more ones to add to the already broken unit. Truly terrifying and disgusting.
My team of Roy, Lilina, P! Azura, and Micaiah would have destroyed that team, the hardest part would have been killing effie, and being careful with my placement obviously
