We will do some paint mixing, some paint blending and use multiple dark waxes to create an aged wood look for the legs of this china cabinet. I would also add some accents to the diamonds on the sides, shading them more on the sides with the paint or dark wax, or adding tiny bit of gold or both😊

Thank you for sharing & teaching us how to better work with the Chalk Paints.
I tried my 1st piece recently (in white without a squirt bottle) and each time I applied another coat I could still see the dark stained cherry table underneath each coat.
I thought I guess I need to spray white with a paint sprayer because this is not working...?
Now I'm guessing the wetting of the brush and spraying of the water will keep that from happening.
I guess I was pulling of the coat of paint underneath each time I tried to apply another coat.
I was ready to quit Chalk Paint altogether but I do really like the matte look of it. And especially the elegant styles that can be created with it.
I will try it your way and see how I do!
Megan Kane hi! Also remember to let the paint dry before applying another coat. If you are picking up the last coat you did when doing a new coat this might be the problem! Thank you for watching!
Megan Kane also, check my last video where I had the problem of bleed through. When working with white over dark woods you may need to spray some shellac on it to stop that!

A small stencil.on the rhombus shapes, would've been a pretty touch. It's the legs for me! That's about $100 worth of painting, blending, waxing and blending.

Kacha, I haved watched you for hours while you do your magic. You are amazing!!! Every piece you do is just breathtaking. I have a beautiful dressing table that I painted an antique white. The piece is absolutely gorgeous, as it has embellishments on the drawers, corners of the legs. But I am nervous about doing something more to it. And I don't know WHAT to do with it!!
