What's behind Taiwan issue?
Taiwan was a Dutch colony from 1624 to 1661. Taiwan came under China's Qing dynasty from 1683 to 1895. From the 17th Century, significant numbers of migrants started arriving from China. Most were Hoklo Chinese from Fujian (Fukien) province or Hakka Chinese, largely from Guangdong. Their descendants are now by far the largest demographic groups on the island. In 1895, Japan won the First Sino-Japanese War, and the Qing government had to cede Taiwan to Japan. After World War Two, Japan surrendered and relinquished control of territory it had taken from China. The Republic of China (ROC) - one of the victors in the war - began ruling Taiwan with the consent of its allies, the US and UK.

The people's protests in Hong Kong and the absence of such environment to protest in China, by the reason of political maturity vouchsafes for the strength of the present Taiwan as being separate from main China. Who knows, the megalithic purported super power may experience somersault as the elephant big in size faces irrecoverable weakness when fallen.
Once upon a time to be a State, it should be backed by certain essentials like sovereignty, people, a territory etc. but when we witness Palestina now and Israel in past, Taiwan at present, the definition of a " State" got its flexibility. When the pulling and pushing forces act opposite, the desired outcome may not come but time will prove the eventuality. I appreciate Taiwan for their independent thinking in particular and the progress being made economically that too enjoying the democratic liberty and individual freedom in general. The factors appearing on the surface may be weaker than the spirit enjoyed intrinsically and in that path, Taiwan is great in development. World is divided in this regard and the cognizable support the main China getting is not the real support ultimately and main China knows this fact clearly and carefully as otherwise, the eventualities might have been profoundly different.

చైనా ఒక దుర్మార్గపు దేశం అన్న విషయం అందరికీ తెలిసిందే! ఎప్పుడైతే తైవాన్ Mainland China తో విలీనమవుతుందో అప్పుడు బోనులో జంతువులాగా ఉండాల్సిందే! ప్రజాస్వామ్యం కరిగిపోయిన కలే అవుతుంది.అధిక సంఖ్యాక ప్రజలు స్వతంత్ర దేశంగా ఉండాలని కోరుకున్నప్పుడు వారిని బలవంతంగా కమ్యూనిస్టు ప్రభుత్వం అనే ఉచ్చులోకి లాగితే దేశం అల్లకల్లోలంగా మారుతుంది. అది మానవహక్కుల ఉల్లంఘన కాదా ! కావాలంటే ఐక్యరాజ్య సమితి నేతృత్వంలో referendum పెట్టుకుంటే సరిపోదా !?

Then Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sikkim, Nepal and Pakistan are all integral parts of India prior to 1947 So shall we call Akhand Mahabharata comprising all these states now? అయినా , చైనా కి ప్రతీ పొరుగు దేశం తో గొడవే( దాదాపు 11 దేశాలు) . చైనా ఒక విస్తరణ వాద దేశమే.
