It’s amazing to think that Gerard Way is already a dad, 47 years old and he STILL sings great. Of course the energy level isn’t exactly the same as before but the spirit is something carried by all of us while reminiscing to these amazing songs!!
What's even more amazing is he was a terrible singer (technically speaking) through most of his career and he's somehow peaking now in his 40s. Came back more consistent and significantly stronger than he's ever been which is super cool!
Hello I was at when we where young 2024 (yesterday) and I crowed surfed and jumped on stage I can't even remember what song it was but did you happen to capture someone jumping on stage by chance? Would really like to show my friends i got as close as I could muahahaha😅
Bro yall gonna have to get over it holy.. if people had the phones we have now back 20-30 years ago EVERYONE would be recording and saving their memories.. this is coming from a 25 year old, would it be cool to see no phones and all lighters again yes.. will it ever happen again no
It's not really a bad ass band to thrash to anyways. And black parade is a horrible album. Especially to headline to. Everyone tired from all day bands and they play and album that makes you want to fall asleep for an hour just to hear 1 good song at the end
I was there last night, it was sardine packed, no room at all to move and people were shoving making it hard to stand but everyone was screaming at the top of their lungs including me 😂
I wouldnt be surprised to learn that Gerard doesn't even really enjoy performing anymore, he does this solely to keep bankrolling whatever his other interests are atm. Go search for a live show from 2010 and then compare to this. Helena has always been a tough song to do live but man its like he cant wait to get through it with as little movement as possible.
@@DoYaPhilMeh That is more than accurate. He can still sing, but it’s somewhere between karaoke him and performer. The lack of a stage presence or any attire was lame, low effort, and not headliner worthy by the promoters IMO. They did SOUND great, so the sound team was spot on.
50 year olds tend to have a bit more trouble constantly moving around energetically than 30 year olds do. don’t go see a middle aged man performing and expect to see a twenty something year old.
@@fluffyfurbie listen, I got nothing but love for MCR and Gerard, but god damn can we just let the Black Parade fuckin die lol. Literally any other album would have been more exciting for me, problem is we've seen TBP toured to fuckin death, Gerard in his prime toured TBP and you can't help but compare the performances. Doubt MCR cares, they clearly only did this for the money. 1 new song in how many years with no album anywhere in sight, idk man.
I was there! Absolutely incredible!
i wish gerard enjoyed this performance as much as we do. i was enjoying myself listening to this song while having this melancholic feeling.
