Highly recommend to new players to start on Simulation. I don’t believe I ever raced in arcade mode actually. Simulation is just so much fun riding that tight rope of balance and disaster. It’s a work out.
this is going to be a great series! Remember if the nose hits the wall you are tight, if the rear hits the wall you are loose. Change springs before weight.
trying to teach how to have talent in NR2003 to someone else feels like when Spongebob and Patrick try to teach Squidward the perfect bubble technique lmao
I find that the biggest thing is controlling the gas and brake. For the longest time, I drove it like a regular car, where you are either on the brake or on the gas, but rarely both. Now I understand that a mixture of both is what really makes a good lap
Yeah in my opinion you have to drive NR2003 different than anything else, even iRacing. It's definitely a balancing act with manipulating the gas and brake together.
0 dislikes with good reason. Super helpful videos, already subbed. Just found this recently, I’ve been trying to play NASCAR thunder 2004 through emulators, but have had a super hard time getting proper performance. This game runs perfect, looks great and is so much fun. Unfortunately, I only have a controller, but I think I may save up to get a wheel. Gonna keep playing this game and see if I can get better at it. Normally I race on GTA V with keyboard and mouse, so this is a very different beast lol
Any advice on catch spins once they start? On most sims, you can at the very least over-correct and snap the car back the other way. And sometimes even straighten it out entirely. That seems impossible on NR, once a spin starts. I can't get wheel rotation to map properly past 400 degrees, and it just feels choppy when the car gets light / loose entering a corner. Like the wheel seesaws back and forth. It's better with a high ratio, but still. Wonder if that's part of the issue.
I’m new to the game and when I turn my car just starts sliding, not sliding just releasing smoke, but I can still drive, then just brings me up and I hit the wall and crash. I can’t even drive on any track. Fix?
I noticed you used throttle and the brake pedal at same time, I use the right foot on the brakes, must bee that reason the most of time I spin, thanks for the video
I always struggled with oversteer and keeping my car from getting loose and since I'm playing with an Xbox controller it's hard to keep the car steady. I never thought I needed a wheel for my gaming PC 😂😂😂
NR2003's overreaction to lifting/coasting/braking is the sim's primary fault. It's as if lifting puts all of the weight on the front tires and none of the weight on the back tires.
I think it is the hardest thing for people to get used to. It's weird jumping between NR and iRacing sometimes because they toned it down a lot in iRacing for the most part
In the options go to "advanced" next to control assignments and there is an option for allowing any key for driving. However there are certain keys that will never work, I think the arrow keys are included in that.
In all your videos it sounds like you are trying to be quiet. I guess it’s not a bad thing, it just might hurt your videos performance a little bit. This is just constructive criticism. I’m trying to help you out a bit. I’m sure if you seen my videos you’ll find plenty of things to criticize, but that’s how we improve. Keep up the good work!
It is very expensive online. I know some people download it for free online if you are interested in that option, you will have to search for how to do it.

I neglected to mention this but I agree wholeheartedly, simulation/no assists is the way to go in my opinion
ineteresting! I´ve always struggled with litf oversteer, now I see what was happening, thanks!

You don't need no gaming laptop to run an old gamr like this
@@cjuice9039 oh ik but i meant since i got a gaming laptop i ofc need this
Really good video, thanks! 😀
Why does my car won't TURN LEFT when i don't break *In PC*

THANNK YOU!!

It's tough on the controller, but I think a lot of the same applies. You just need to get used to making tiny adjustments throughout the corners.

@@simracingmiscellaneous6287 I think iRacing gets it right. But that clutch on the road courses...
How Do You Race As Another Driver?
Question, is there anything that can be done about the player's car riding so ridiculously low to the ground in comparison to AI?
how do you play with keyboard
Can you play this game on keyboard?
Bro ehat do i do if it says "selected key is not allowed as a driving control"
In the options go to "advanced" next to control assignments and there is an option for allowing any key for driving. However there are certain keys that will never work, I think the arrow keys are included in that.
when i press drive it kicks me out of the entire program

How do ya turn off the racing line?
You press the R key!
starting to think this old DualShock 3 is not gonna cut it for this game. I should pick up a Logitech Momo.
How do you buy this game?
It is very expensive online. I know some people download it for free online if you are interested in that option, you will have to search for how to do it.
Wild kustoms I believe they have a copy
and the game has this car
how to start a car
I'm using a controller
Why would people switch gears without pressing the clutch? That's so unrealistic.
You don't have to clutch to shift in NASCAR. th-cam.com/video/EnOdwQ-vpuA/w-d-xo.html Check out Harvick at Sonoma!
