Saw this video in my recommended to watch because I watch G.S. and Longshot. Excellent flying with one of my favorite 4th Gen naval aircraft alongside the legendary F-14 Tomcat (A-D)

Great piloting. Learned a few things thats for sure. I wonder however, in equal energy state and altitude, which missile wins between R-27R and AIM-7MH? Fired at the same time. Im having some trouble if im engaged first. HOLY shit i think the Mirage was actually me. I was following a clean Su-33 since he killed the F-15 and i went off to Gele i think shortly after. I cant believe im seeing this LMAO
@@DCSSicario If i remember correctly, i locked him just as you fired. So, even if the missile missed, i had your back :) I just wish i was as proficient in the Flanker as i am with the Mirage. But my love goes to Flanker any day of the week.
Nice looking skin on that baby. I am curious. . . does DCS model FOD damage from flying through debris from an air kill? I see other youtubers fly through it quitw often, but never see them get taken out.
Yea, she looks pretty modern with that dress on. One can get damaged if flying unto the main body when it is dropping, but other parts are just for decoration
Some of the best DCS videos. Extremely immersive. 2 things: Nice to see a guy fly a "lesser" jet (33 over the 27) to challenge himself and... NICE to see a guy fly without always being in afterburner. Question; If the 33 is the same gross weight of the 27, is the 33 just as maneuverable? Do the canards make for a better slow speed fighter than the 27?
Thank you, means allot 👍🏼 The 33 is a heavier plane due to more robust gears (for carrier ops), larger fuel tanks, and like you mentioned canards and other additions to wings. I personally think the 27 is more nimble in all speeds, but the 33 has a slower forward glide speed, which comes in hand when landing on the carrier. My next challenge on the 80’s server will be the Mig21 and the SU25A.. will def get grey hair after that 😁
Hehe can not remember the victims names.. but like most of us we fly under different callsigns. I use even BigusDickus at times not to get headhunted on the field 😁
Good flying! One question, that merge with the F-15 after you made his Sparrow eat that ridge, you went off burners to turn into him, why not do a high yo-yo and maintain energy?
@@DCSSicario That was a nice looking pit you have, I saw an extended cover over the radar screen , is it a mod ? and the colour of the pit was really nice, I have the English Blue mod in my 33. Is that SU 57 looking skin a personal for you ?.
As per other comments great to see the path less walked, the heavier Su33 route. Great use of the jet.

It’s a tricky bird, especially if one bleeds too much speed. So the cobra was the only way out, which worked out well 🙂

My speed was around 900, wanted to bring her down to 750 which is the corner speed for this bird (light load out and half tank
Reason why I did not high joyo was because of threats in the area, low profile usually makes it harder to be spotted
