It's an absolute pleasure to see such a fabulous restoration of a Rotrax bike. Well done, and I love your selection of componentry. I'm familiar with Rotrax because I lived in Southampton for 11 years. Once I needed a vintage 5 pin TA crankset in a hurry for a bike that was due to take part in a Moulton Club event a few days later. Mr Rotrax disappeared into the back room and brought one out, new-old stock. It's still fitted to the John Woodburn F frame Moulton.

Genius Dad passed last year but back in the early 50s himself with 3 friends cycled from South Wales to the French alps and Pyrenees twice on this bike I cannot thank Paul enough for his enthusiasm and passion put into restoring dad’s bike Thank you so much Paul

I had a Rotrax in the late 60s it was my first proper racing frame. I let my brother in law have it he was a poverty stricken student he did it up and sold it to make a bit of money.

A decade or so ago, a man in Pasadena CA was still importing these frames which he said were being made by his father back in the UK.
