Janis left everything out there when she sang... there aren't many like her any more. Loved your joyous reaction to this one, i get those shivers down my spine at, " Maybe, maybe MAYBEEEEEEEEEEE!!"
Very nice reaction to a Blues Icon, but also to this sweet soulful tiny songbird who graced us with ballads like this one. I hope 'Special' says it all. RIP dear Janis
I love your eactions, and I have always loved Janis. Taken way too soon, the most natural, talented singer of many generations. This performance is amazing.
That was astounding! She and Big Brother and the Holding Company did a great here on the Ed Sullivan stage where new acts were ntroduced to Americans on tv.
I know a woman that went to high school with her in Port Author, Texas, she told me that the “it” crowd always picked on Janis, she was bullied terribly though those years, I know that she always struggled and I hope those people are ashamed of themselves for that. I love Janis, may she rest in peace and I pray that she is an Angel up in heaven singing her beautiful heart out with the choir.
I think it's beautiful for all its rawness and unabashed authenticity. She always pours her heart and soul into every song, like the old blues players.
She sang in the Baptist church in her hometown before she left home and went out on her own.. I used to know the whole story but due to an illness I've become brain damaged...sorry, peace friends!!💜🌹✌️🌹💜
After listening to Janis in this and the other one you review now listen to current singers and see the difference. Not sure if you listened to Joe Batamonsta and Beth Heart doing I’d rather go blind live
She was not just a great performer and artist, she was a great songwriter.

I hate bullies! They wreck many lives.
I could see how she moved you, try "Piece of my Heart" "Cry Baby" or "Ball & Chain" all great Janis songs.
club 27: Janis, Jimi and so on - what a band it would be if there would be a musiv heaven

Janis didn't have a beautiful voice ,she had a voice like sandpaper smoothing out the wrinkles in your soul .
I know right?!
and still i think its the most beautiful voice of all times
@@maximesteinebrunner9941 Not the classical definition of beautiful ,but very beautiful in her own unique way
