Imagine the Beatles coming up with all these great songs like this when they were just teens and early twenties and all the craziness going on ... so amazing. There is nothing obvious in this chord structure .. they never stop fascinating me.
One of if not the best guitar tutor to learn from. Explained clearly, easy to follow and throws in a few embellishments to spice things up. Your lessons are great keep up yhr good work and thanks for your time.
We are so lucky to have so many talented teachers on youtube these days. Thank you very much for taking the time to post all the tutorials for these amazing songs! Hats off to you sir :)
Great stuff, mate. Cheers. Learning this so I can play the German version, Sie Liebt Dich, for my final German lesson in a couple of hours - really appreciate the clear, no-bullsh*t instruction. I'll definitely be checking out more of your tutorials.
Thee best guitar tutor on the net.................Plays them all like they sound...........superb. Thanks georgiarose16 for sharing all these great songs with us.........brilliant!!
When I try to sing like Lennon I do what I do when I try to play like him. Clunky. So all in the nose. VEry growly. Don't open yer mouth too much, don't try to sing any kind of range. Maybe chew some gum. Let someone else do the entertaining cos I've got girls to chase.
hey george. really terrific video lesson. love your riffs, and your singing is enjoyable. dont knock it. hey just wanted your opinion. on an old live beatles utube video of she loves ypu, remastered, i see john playing a full blown d chord complete with f# on the 4 th string and the 6th string. i think it actually sounds ok . what do you think.
a veces mi internet es demasiado lento, me permite bajar sus videos para poder estudiarlos con calma. Agradezco su respuesta. sometimes my internet is too slow that i can`t study, may i download your videos. I appreciate your response
Your Gibson, I guest is a J200 sounds the best so far. The rest I hear on U tube are not as warm sound as this one here. Actually I got confused by so many versions if this guitar when I visit a music store.
George, I think you have the same chords for eight day a week too. Are you doing a down-down |up down up down or are you doing a down-down |down up down up ?
Is your last name really McCartney? 'Cause if it is, we might be related. My last name is McCartney, and saw The Beatles is Hamburgh, Germany in 1962 while I was over there in the Navy. And saw them again in '63 in Liverpool. :)
Love that people are still interested in the Beatles songs, and it's great people are sharing their knowledge. While I get this is for beginners and aims to provide the basic chords, a significant part of the "magic" of the Beatles is in the TIMING. Especially the strum patterns, emphasis, and subtleties are soooooo important. Sorry, I'm a purist when it comes to truly capturing the actual rhythm guitar and lead guitar parts correctly. This "lesson" unfortunately misses the mark totally in terms of the timing, feel, strum patterns, lead guitar notes shown - these are just wrong. My main concern is this fails to impart the correct information how to play the actual parts, and I hope this does not set budding players back. I suppose people with actual talent will probably develop to the point they can go to the original music and work it out note for note for themselves and recognize the intricacies. My suggestion to the "teacher" would be to go back to the source, trim the sounds (remix?), and isolate the individual pieces (which is easy to do with the early two channel "proto" stereo of the time where many of the instruments are panned to one side and vocals on the other), and then master the exact parts as closely as possible, note for note, chord for chord, and get the fingering and positioning right. The key is to get the syncopated strum patterns right too, and capture the "feel" of the music. That is what I wanted to see when I first started to play seriously many years ago. (Maybe I could get around to making one of these "how to" videos matching the best isolated focus on each instrument from the original sound and showing my best interpretation of what they were doing playing along with each individual part. Time to dust off the electric guitar in our new house :))
You said it yourself that this is likely aimed at" beginners" to intermediate players and then you go on to rip the lesson to shreds. Come on man we don't all want to be perfectionists. These are great lessons enjoyed by players of all levels. Your 5th paragraph above about remixing and isolating blah. blah, blah. You think guys want to do all that work and post a video for free? If I don't like a lesson I can always search you tube for another. BUT I always enjoy and profit from these vids posted here.

impossible to sing is right mate! I nearly blew my throat-out trying to hit Lennon's vocal . greatest rock and roll voice of ALL TIME.

Try playing G6 instead of G on the last "Yeah" it just gives the fuzzy feeling to the last word

When you play an open C chord, are you playing a G bass note, 6th string 3rd fret? Usually notated C/G. Thanks, great video.
Hey love the lesson, what guitar is that?
Buena
i love u yeah yeah yeah :D
Give that guitar back to Noel!! :D
I think you'll find John played a D major while George played a D7 - you'll find similar in quite a few Beatles numbers.
You look rad in beanies hahahha thanks my man!
mike auricchio .......he's the white craaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggg daaaaaavid from the outback bouncing around like a chezwozzer drinking vb
I think your voice is not even bad. No worries mate ;)
i like your t-shirt
Nice! John plays a D not a D7 in the verse. You can see it in any live videos.
how often do you change strings and what guage do you use?
a veces mi internet es demasiado lento, me permite bajar sus videos para poder estudiarlos con calma. Agradezco su respuesta. sometimes my internet is too slow that i can`t study, may i download your videos. I appreciate your response

mr.georgiarose16, i love your video.. it make us easy to learn and play...i have 1 request, can u show me how to play sorrel by wishbone ash...
Sie liebt dich, yeah yeah yeah!
i forgot to add on my comment below that the d chord is played instead of the d7 by john if im seeing it right
is the strum pattern DD UDUD?
Can you try recording in 60fps? It'll be easier to see the video
Btw it's a G6 at the end not just a normal G
Nah it's just a G, but they sing the 6.
GangstaPotatos thanks for the info that just reveals more the inventiveness of them
I think the D7 sounds better played at the 3rd fret using the C7 shape.
He's a comedian - That lovely C minor - ha ha ha!

Strumming Pattern is D-DU-U-DU
Don't feel it's authentic; great lesson though, I'm still learning it; thank you.
Acordes?
you are just super tutor great videos thank you very much the Beatles ware the best .
BTW it ends on a G6 - just saying.
No offense, but I like the d major on the first verse rather than the d7
