I've rewatched Waydi doing his R.I.C.O. part at least a 100 times. I mean that has to be one of the strongest openings I've ever fuckin seen. That god tier shit was like put him in a body bag and bury him down an oil drilling hole 60,000 ft below ground. The way he set it up, his progression, the creativity of movies, flow, cohesiveness, talent, skill, timing, musicality, good lord he fuckin bodied it. Look closely, he wasn't singing he moved his mouth like once. In one of the criminalz interviews he was asked about the battle and he said he hadn't heard the song before and even Boubou looked surprised. Also you can see at the start he waits to listen to the song before dancing and you can see his reaction when he hears the background beats and stuff cause he knows he's about to ruin it :D

I used to see people talk about Waydi in the comments all the time. I had never seen him dance before so I'm just like "He can't be THAT good...I'm sure people are exaggerating." I had seen even more comments about Waydi so then I was like "You know what, lemme see what he's got. All this hype can't be for nothing." So I type in Waydi in the search bar, and this is the first video I see so I click it...I froze. An hour goes by and I realize I haven't even got past his first round. I probably watched that 100 times at least. I had never been this mindblown since I first saw Fik-shun..He is easily one of the top best dancers out there. I rarely see such precise musicality. I mean he gave me chills. Waydi is a force to be reckon with. I hope he continues to grow. This is the video that made me see dance in a different way. Props to him.

+Phakt. I kind of see him as a badass version of Salah... Salah is known for being incredible with his musicality and interpretation of the music, but with a very humorous style, whereas Waydi does the same in a hard-hitting way. Which is like everything I aspire to as a dancer

Yeah, he timed that shit so on cue, it's hard to believe it was spontaneous, but it really fucking was, which makes it all that more impressive.

How does Waydi GET THE CROWD like that. I've watched loads of his videos, and he has an ability to make EVERYONE get into the groove with him, it's a skill few dancers have. Even very very good dancers can do what he does like that. It's amazing to watch.

Waydi killed it to me, he's light years ahead of Kefton. Kefton had some cool beat kills, but when the beats speeds up he has a hard time keeping up IMO, his moves start to get repetitive. Overall it seemed like a cool and friendly battle, but Waydi definitely won.
After watching Kefton get destroyed by Tight Eyez I don't view him in the same way haha

I've been watching Summer Dance videos and in every single vid people complain about how Greentech is an asshole because he mimics what the other dancer is doing. Waidy did this, pushed his opponent shirt, and just invaded Kefton space forcing him to stop dancing... and somehow he is the peoples champ. Talk about double standards.
+部洲居 True to an extent, but you can just feel there's more than just a "battle attitude" for Greentech. You might not, but the majority of the people feel so most likely. Even though Waydi does do what you said above, he's only doing it for the sake of battle tactics, nothing more malicious. You can tell by the way he reacts to his opponents when it's not his turn or after the battle.
