as a "random youtube person" I'll try to give my two cents: If we watch the actually level of skill and difficulty and full range of movement then I think people will find it hard to disagree that Tight Eyez was on a far superior level. The complexity of movement he demonstrated while staying on top of the music is really hard to argue with. So people who are on Kefton's side will always argue the musicality card. Musicality is a huge part of the game but we're at a level right now wherein "moving to what I hear" is a very common form of "musicality". reading a lot of the comments here I agree with people saying that that kind of musicality is a little lackluster. I also agree with those who say that it is the minimum requirement to even be in the battle scene in general. don't get me wrong, it does not mean Kefton was "basic" in any sense, but I believe that people rooting for Kefton should at least take that into consideration when analyzing this battle. It was a great battle and If I had to judge it then I'd give it to Tight Eyez. On a personal note, I think making fun of the Krump style at an all styles battle is low. Tight Eyez was on beat, he just hit a higher tempo that can still mesh with a 4 count. Musicality is more than just a simple move catching a bounce man. That's merely rhythm. Kefton followed that flow, which was pretty dope in his 3rd round. I just felt like he lacked precision at times and his moves didn't look clean at those points. Eyez got that.
ikejay I would also like to take note of the fact in Kefton's second and third rounds he tried to krump... Dude's arms are mad sloppy. Even compared to other hip hop dancers like Les Twins, Kefton is sloppy.

I agree with your point about the music, the first two tracks were more suitable for krumpers. But I also do believe that tight eyez` third round was as good as the other two. It was only a bit short, he probably thought that he already got him with the first two, which is true. I also wanna add that the music in their fist encounter(finals battle ghetto stylez) fitted better two nelsons and keftons style
Honestly I have watched this so many times and I think kefton and some people who say TE the KRUMPER was not on beat are tripping, the man clearly was on point especially in the 2nd round if you look at his feet the cap tricks and him hitting the ground he went according to the beat in my opinion and for kefton to keep tapping his ear needs to pay attention even that guy with the baby made me so mad! I respect the craft of being a popper, a krumper, a locker etc but I am only impressed by true dancers. Ones who are able to dance to music outside of their style, and adapt their movement so they are fit for purpose. Nelson is one of those people. Obviously Tight Eyez is a legendary Krumper and a pioneer but I would still choose to watch someone like Nelson or Marvin over him. Just my opinion. Junior addressed how he understood KRUMP involves physical contact but not to wound their opponent physically, only mentally because if you're opponent starts fighting while you KRUMP, the battle is over and the KRUMP dancer dancing wins by default. As far as physical touching goes, you could see at the very beginning of junior and Eyez battle how Eyez threw the towel or whatever they used to decide who to start, thats 1 disrespect. The biggest disrespect was when he approached junior and pushed him over but junior used that against Eyez which was very creative and hat the crowd to hype, and I can imagine how much of a hater Eyez was in that moment where he kicked junior out of pure hate. The beauty of dance is that no matter how much you might be rooting for one side or the other, when someone emits fire, you have no choice but to admire it. Look at Les Twins during the second round: Larry is to the left of the cameraman in front and Laurent moves to the right of the girl with the bucket hat on the bottom right of the screen. When Tight starts that 2nd round, the energy Tight emits causes Larry to go buck wild and at 5:11 of the video Laurent is ready to lose it. No matter how much the Criminalz Crew (Larry and Laurent excluded) wanted to pump up Kefton, the battle was all but lost. Reminds me of the first round battle between L'eto vs Killason - sometimes you tip your hat to the opponent. Killason could've sprouted wings during the battle and it wouldn't have made a difference. More often than not, the dancer dances to the music but there are times, rare as it might be, where the music and dancer become one and the same. When ever I hear J Squad - Hip Hop 10, I will always think of Tight and whenever I hear 14kt - Rockabye Baby, I will think of L'eto. Nice battle.

If Junior never had a problem with it and respected Tight Eyez dancer to dancer, what reason do you have to call Tight Eyez the most disrespectful dancer when there are dancers out there that literally fight in battles and Tight Eyez has never done that.
Junior addressed how he understood KRUMP involves physical contact but not to wound their opponent physically, only mentally because if you're opponent starts fighting while you KRUMP, the battle is over and the KRUMP dancer dancing wins by default.
It even goes like that in KRUMP battles
If a KRUMP dancer physically touches their opponent in ways that look illegal in mainstream Hip Hop dance and the opponent reacts to it in a manner of fighting, that opponent loses by default and the battle is over.
Clowning would be a more understandable dance..

I have to admit that I don’t know about KRUMP because it doesn’t affect me, I don’t like it, I find it STUPID, it’s just too much out of beat in my opinion, thats just my view. As far as physical touching goes, you could see at the very beginning of junior and Eyez battle how Eyez threw the towel or whatever they used to decide who to start, thats 1 disrespect. The biggest disrespect was when he approached junior and pushed him over but junior used that against Eyez which was very creative and hat the crowd to hype, and I can imagine how much of a hater Eyez was in that moment where he kicked junior out of pure hate. I mean.. come on man, first of all pay some respect to a very humble man who is handicapped!! That’s just too disgusting. The beauty of dance is that no matter how much you might be rooting for one side or the other, when someone emits fire, you have no choice but to admire it. Look at Les Twins during the second round: Larry is to the left of the cameraman in front and Laurent moves to the right of the girl with the bucket hat on the bottom right of the screen. When Tight starts that 2nd round, the energy Tight emits causes Larry to go buck wild and at 5:11 of the video Laurent is ready to lose it. No matter how much the Criminalz Crew (Larry and Laurent excluded) wanted to pump up Kefton, the battle was all but lost. Reminds me of the first round battle between L'eto vs Killason - sometimes you tip your hat to the opponent. Killason could've sprouted wings during the battle and it wouldn't have made a difference. More often than not, the dancer dances to the music but there are times, rare as it might be, where the music and dancer become one and the same. When ever I hear J Squad - Hip Hop 10, I will always think of Tight and whenever I hear 14kt - Rockabye Baby, I will think of L'eto. Nice battle.
