I didn't know you could run your filter unless your pool was totally filled !! I'm going to try this! Thank you❤
My above ground pool had a leak few years ago so I tried diving to find it and couldn't so what I did was pump out water down to about one foot above where the side liner seam is bonded to the bottom liner (as long as your water level stays ABOVE that CRITICAL SEAM JUNCTION while you do this you will not harm a vinyl liner) Then I was able to go around on my hands and knees and found the hole easily! I patched it with Water Bed Repair patch kit I got at pool supply store then refilled pool and balanced chemicals, all good to go then! You just don't want to hit the patch with Vacuum or anything it was a foot away from the side in area I don't go by so I don't walk on patch either.

Hi there, our pool is 15x30:)
We have a pool vacuum that we leave in the pool all day, then back wash, then we leave it on filter all day. It takes about 2-3 days when opening.

Not trying to be trollish but did u know that it is harmful to turn your multi port valve to the left? The multi port valve should only turned in one direction (to the right). Great video 😊

If you continued adding water how did you determine that it was fix? Your water from the hose was going in fast than your leak.

Hi Kim, I do have a sand filter and it's fine:)
close the filter off with the valve - if you don't have a valve to close off the filter, simply remove the cartridges from the large filter and close it back up and run the system like that for 8-10 hours - then ALL IS OFF for 2 days - Then put your filters back in resume normal operation -

Hi Rhonda, sorry abouts that, I added music to keep the background noise more entertaining. I guess I should've decreased the volume when I edited the video. Will make sure to keep the music low in my future videos.

Actually there was no leak in the liner. It was from the out take. All I did was tightened it up a lil.

No you will have to patch the liner. This stuff is kind of like snake oil in a bottle.
You're right! We just used it to fix our leak temporarily until we found the source of leakage.

How would u use this product if you don’t have a skimmer?
You would pour the product to wherever your pool or spa sucks in water, in a spa for instance it has a little vent cover over an area that sucks and you could pour it in there , or pour it in where your filter is. On a pool with no skimmer you would still have some area that sucks in water Such as main drain. So you would just pour directly into the pool and brush it towards the main drain as it’s heavier than water?

Where was your leak ? In the pool or in the filter

We kept putting the solution in the pool and we followed where it went. We also looked on the bottom of the pool for any dirt or particles deposits where the hole could be.
@@MzAnaliza i thought this fixes any leaks or small holes? its just to find where the leak is at??
@@JoshuaPadilla-of2mx it is for fixing leaks but what she is saying is that if there was a leak in a certain area of the liner especially on the bottom it would suck this stuff towards it, you would be able to see it.
This product didn't work at all. Save your money. Higher a professional.

Oh no! The fix a leak solution did help me for about a few weeks but again, it's temporary solution.
So this only worked for a few weeks?
It worked for a while. We managed to find the actual leak and just patched it.
@@MzAnaliza so did it start leaking after a couple weeks, before you patched it, or did you just use this for a couple weeks until you could patch it? just trying to determine if the product did eventually start leaking on its own? Thanks
That does not seem safe ....putting that toxic stuff in the water then swimming in it
Hi there, I let the chemical cure for 4 days. Then, filtering it for 12 hours. It was safe.
That's what I was wondering because it says that you have to remove the product prior to swimming and considering it settles to the bottom how does that get filtered out?
I forgot to mention that we did replaced the water in our pool once the leak was fixed.

My pool was leaking. We didn't know where the hole was. We later found a small tear on our pool lining.
Is this product good for Pool liners?
Did this fix the tear in your linear? Did your Pool continue leaking after 48 hours
@@karlinu1 it didn't completely fix it, it's more of a bandaid solution. We were able to find the hole and patched it.
@@MzAnaliza thx for the reply. I have a concrete pool with a 2mm liner though still having a very small leak which we cannot find :( did everything... all hope is lost..
