John's knowledge about clubs is crazy and Ashley you're just as good. Crazy how many clubs you find and very jealous of how many deals .stay safe and keep the videos coming.
I grew up playing a course in Tekoa, Washington that had the same kinda history. A farmer went to the big metropolis of Spokane for the weekend, played some golf and caught the bug, then took some land out of wheat production and built 3 holes. He got a little bored, so he then built 6 more holes. The product? Well, if you take a divot much bigger than a 50 cent piece you may need to go see an orthopedic surgeon. And the greens are "challenging", so say the least(I think even the world's greatest putter might get a few tricky reads!). But it was 35 bucks a year for membership for 12 year old me in 1988, and while the Pepsi machine on the outside of the old farm house that was the club house has been changed a few times, it's still a cheap place to learn how to play golf nestled in the rolling Palouse hills south of Spokane.
@@tradesmith_yt There's that one, I remember darlington having a funky little course, the new one at Colfax i guess is phenomenal, Chewelah has an awesome little course(there's one hole you across a gorge that my uncle, who played a power fade that some days turned into a super hook, termed "that damn ball eating gorge".). Eastern Wa has some great courses, and not just gems like Apple Blossom or the mighty handicap inflator that is Indian Canyon. Plus, playing them in late summer is a memory of warm days and, not to sound cliche, amber waves of grain. Good luck!
@@StackedGolf If you all head up to the inland northwest, there's just some great golf to be had. Plus, if you do go to Spokane, head to the Elk for breakfast before you play. I say this because I know how yall roll, and that in itself is a treat!
Found your channel a couple months back and you rekindled my interest in golf! After watching your videos I finally went out and started playing this summer for the first time in 10 years. After I had dug my old set out of storage I even went thrifting and found a whole set of Taylormade Firesole Tour irons for $40! I credit you both for my new/old found pastime. Hope you both have had a great Summer!
You guys are awesome! Been following you two for a few months now and stumbled across this video and realized you were in my town 😂. Good ole Evansville, IN. Very familiar with the B-Town area and love going up for lil-5 every year. It’s really funny because almost everywhere you all went looking for clubs are my normal spots I round on each week looking for good deals. I buy old used putters/wedges, completely restore and update. The next time you all are in the Evansville area let me know and I can show you a few spots that have great deals and decent selections. Safe travels and GO HOOSIERS!!!
Big Nike Golf Fan myself here! I found you guys in march right when I started playing golf and I’ve been hooked ever since. I got my girlfriend into playing golf by showing her how much fun y’all have on course!Watching y’all two play alternating shot and shopping together has quickly become a past time for me an my girlfriend. We love the content. You also showed me that golf doesn’t have to be a rich persons sport. You just have to shop smart! I’ve built and entire Nike golf and got to knocking down my score right away. I consistently shoot in the 90s and have quickly fallen in love with this game. I think it’s going to be something I keep doing for the rest of my life. My main problem right now is that I order a Nike Vapor Speed driver from eBay and I got a little confused with the listing. The club shipped from Japan and it came with a SR flex shaft. I thought that would be a stiff/regular flex but quickly realized that it was a senior flex haha. My driver is easily my most inconsistent club in my bag because of this reason. I’m forced to swing the club way slower than the rest and I can’t get consistent fairways in regulation because of this. Every time I swing my driver I think to myself “let’s go find it” but I’m referring to me trying to find my ball haha. A driver that I could swing as I want would make me love this game so much more and get me over my driving frustrations while letting me actually enjoy driving the ball. Also shout out to y’all for continuing to play golf in this southern heat! I’m from Louisiana myself and golfing in this heat is exhausting! Keep up the content and keep up the food reviews! It give you guys a different edge!
Your videos sparked me getting into buying and reselling golf clubs. I have done well enough with flipping clubs that now my wife looks for clubs whenever she goes to a thrift store or yard sale. 😂 Always love watching your content!
Just started watching but loving the finds you stumble upon and love watching the course play at the end of the videos. Keep doing what your doing! Best Wishes!
You two are a joy to watch. I’m so glad I came across your Chanel around a year ago. Keeps me smiling and wanting to go thrifting for golf clubs. Thanks for the entertainment and keep finding the good stuff.
LOVE you’re guys channel! Still waiting for a Rick Shield vs Stacked Golf match in the near future. Yall do great work and great content. I’ve learned so much from your videos and I alway get excited when I see notification y’all have uploaded a video. Keep up the great work!
Welcome back to Indiana you two! I started watching your vids a year ago and have been hitting up all the Goodwill's in and around Indy ever since, Lol. The best deals I have found have been at Play it again Sports in Greenwood. I completed my Nike set. CPR Irons and wedges (I found the 56 and 60 on ebay), Covert 3 wood and Hybrids. I ended up finding a Sumo Square for $40 off FB market place.(Still want a Covert 2 Tour) My putter is a Ping tho. I rounded out my set with a Indianapolis Colts golf bag. 😄
Great video guys. I was born and raised in Indiana, but live in Minnesota now, and love seeing the Indiana character again. I never got down to the Bloomington area to play but it looks similar to courses that I played in my youth. Love your videos, in spite of the fact that you went yo IU (I went to Purdue, so I had to throw in the dig). Hope that you had a great trip and looking forward to seeing more Indiana courses that you play while you are there.
Firstly I like to thank you both for getting me through the longest Lockdowns known to Mankind and look forward to upcoming episodes that will help me while I recover from my upcoming knee replacement. 3 months no Golf but plenty of TH-cam watching to come. I am new here but have been learning a lot. I have also been trying to buy clubs to start out golfing. I have been to the range and the clubs. I had cats or rats peed on them, and after time at the range and getting blisters, I realized my grips were peed on even after taking them through the car wash five times. So I had to throw them out and now looking to restart with a new setup. I have been thinking of starting slowly and maybe even get fitted for each thing.
Love your videos! I remember when you guys were blown away at 50k subscribers and now you are over 150k!!! Great work and thanks for including us on your adventures!
Love the road trips and showing you can find clubs anywhere. I think sometimes being in a golf mecca like Florida we viewers wonder if there are gems to be found outside big golf areas, but clearly there are!
i have been watching this channel since like early 2021 and that was the day i knew i loved this channel and to see it grow from the first time i watched the with about 20,000 subscribers and later now with over 100,000
Here I am, watching one of my favorite channel’s and suddenly BOOM you’re at ol’ Pine Woods-one of my most frequented courses! I had no clue you two came from my hometown, Bloomington. Crazy! Small world!
If you folks find yourselves in Indy, I found some really good stuff at the 3 Play It Again Sports locations there. Best find was a Vapor Fly 3 wood that kickstarted my Vapor Fly Pro collection. Also, my wife is from Terre Haute and we recently went back to visit for her best friend's wedding. Her friend's father in law owns a large piece of property out in Cory that was a 9 hole golf course once upon a time. He bought it when the course closed to the public a few years back and they've turned it into a really spectacular slice of heaven for them and their family to enjoy. They still keep a few of the holes up and running for their friends and family to come and play. I only wish I had my clubs with me in the car, then I could've played a couple holes after the wedding reception.
I like it when you guys go back to visit home. We grew up in Cincinnati and my wife went to IU. I spent a lot of time around there with her. Keep having fun.
I love your video's. It made me start looking for clubs are garage sales and goodwill's. Been missing the flea market video's where you guys sell the clubs, i enjoyed those as well. Keep up the work, your inspiring to a lot of people.
Got to say your vlogs are fun to watch. Both of you have great personalities that make it fun. Your content of great finds and golf is a winner. Also your foodie content is a nice touch. Keep up the good work.

Unfortunately we don't have thrifting ( with golf clubs ) stores in Australia but marketplace, Gumtree & garage sales are very good but it's very addictive. Keep up the good work & thank you . ps Jon should you bring back the shades just one more time lol
Bought a set of Wilson FT 17 blades in a thrift shop left the new Titleist irons at home most fun round I had all year .Love how you play all the different clubs you find.
I was rocking the Hogan PC's in High School! I won a raffle for some Wilson Fat Shafts and traded them in for those because the distance was too inconsistent on the big Stix. I actually just bought the PC 2-iron on Ebay last year! Thats my favorite find of yours ever. Butter soft and workable! We have similar taste. I've also sported the DCI 990's (ten years after 99) and am currently using my KZG forged from 05!

Just started watching your videos last month and I am really liking the content. It has sparked my interest in golf for sure and I have been playing once a week now and loving it
One of, if not the first, video I watched was a ball review. I don't recall which ball(s) you were reviewing. I think it may have been a Srixon. Vice boxes have had the fish artwork for sometime now. I have no idea what the correlation is between fish and golf balls, but it's not new artwork.
The course you played are like those we play in New Hampshire. Really enjoy your videos, although I’ve had no luck finding clubs at garage sales or thrift stores. Keep the videos coming!
great video, I have played a couple of courses like that here in Ontario, Canada. The one thing we don't have here is thrift shops with a lot of golf clubs, if they do the clubs are in rough shape. Looking forward to your next video.
There is a course in Northern KY that used to be a farm and they converted into a course. It's called Hickory Sticks, and it has a bunch of hills like this course. Played it in high school and had to walk, and it was quite the effort.
im from the uk and been playing golf a while. I love seeing your videos and seeing the bargains you get. Unfortunately its a lot harder to find golf steals over here.
My Walmart has been out of most premium balls for months, so I decided to try the Wilson Staff Duo Soft…..Absolutely LOVE that ball! IMO you can’t beat it for the price. Still love TP5 and ProV1 but at half the price the Wilson is great.
Love you guys! Fun video, I would love to see a close up of Ashley’s putting grip because I’ve been tinkering with a left hand low putting grip and I would love to see how the worlds greatest putter does it!
I got into golf about 3 months ago and fell in love. I also resell on eBay. I think the combination of videos led me to y'all. Let's just say, you have helped my golf club knowledge a lot.
Keeping it real as usual. Thank you guys for producing great content encouraging us to go out on the hunt for hidden treasure. I have to say its addicting but you have also helped me pay off credit card debt. Again THANK YOU

Really enjoy your videos guys. It is really entertaining to watch you use older equipment on the course. Goes to show you, you don’t have to spend thousands to have a lot of fun. Keep up the good work.
Great content!! You got me trying clubs I never thought I would and I have to say that some of them have been great finds and great deals!! Thank you so much Jon and Ash

Stacked Golf x Rick Shiels. Give him a bag of crazy, unique, rare clubs and he tries to break 75 with them. We need this 🙏🏼
Awesome idea …..this is exactly what TH-cam needs ……get r done kids , reach out to Rick he would be game to try it out…I bet .

Yep, I'd 👍 that one!
