In Ep 4 of My NBA Journey with Killian Hayes, Killian and the squad lose a VERY close game that they definitely could have won. Killian's not happy about it, but he knows he needs to pick himself up and get back to work!
After the game, he goes to his parents' apartment in Germany for a good home-cooked dinner. He may be a pro, but Killian's only 18, so where he goes, his fam goes also!
At this point, COVID is starting to get bad around the world, and the NBA pushes the draft back. To get ready, Killian goes back to Florida to train, and he trains HARD! Check out the ep to see Killian's workouts on and off the court. All I know is, they helped him gain 30 pounds! I might have to get on that lifting routine...
Finally, Killian and his cousin EJ head to the batting cages to see if they can hit a 90 mile per hour fastball. Does Killian have the baseball genes too, or should he stick to basketball? Watch that ep and find out!

He looked nervous and hesitant on the floor the last two preseason games, which is expected. He'll def need more time to get comfortable on the court and we're definitely not gonna give up on him this early. Due to covid, the 2020 draft class was not able to train with their teams for very long as well as not having a summer league to showcase their talents. In a few months though, we'll start seeing these guys do much better. Rooting for you Killian! DEEETROIT BASKETBALL!

Think SKillian should watch young Dragic over Nash. They are more similar and it's using todays game. Dragic excels at Killian's weakness, attacking downhill all the way to rim and using contact aggressively. Dragic is flat out mean, I think Hayes could use that sometimes.

I know he thinks he gained 30 lb of muscle but anybody familiar with fitness knows he gained nothing close to that. A difference of 30 lb in a year is due to lots of things. He could've gained an inch of height. The gained lean body mass means more total water retained, more total glycogen in the body, etc. Only a few pounds of that supposedly 30 is actual muscle. (By the way, I'm even skeptical of the alleged 30 bodyweight pounds gained. That is a LOT(
