In prototypes, the days of just an engine revving are over. That massive whine is something I guess we get used to with the hybrid and energy recovery systems onboard. I miss the old days.
Haha xD when you once drive a ""faster"" Car, than you will understand why he do this. Imagine i would stand on your left side. And i would push with my both Hands, and all my Power your Head to the Side... You would do the same Thing. You would do your Head to the Left side, to fight against my Force.
so, if you follow this link - www.fiawec.com/en/news/dry-practice-sees-fastest-ever-wec-laps-at-spa_3108.html there is some info on times that teh Audi R18 set: 1m57.368. Now, in 2016, in the Belgium GP, formula 1 race, the best qualifying time was: 1:46.744, Nico Rosberg, on Q3. That makes the difference almost 11 seconds, but on different days. however, I would assume that the F1 drivers are better drivers that those who drive the R18. I may be wrong, but MAYBE, if you put an F1 driver to drive both cars to the limit, the difference would be a second or two less?

Hell i love it. I hate that with more talk of electric we may get to a point where the sounds of power start fading away.
TDI ?))
Would be much slower if it wasn’t
that was some pretty good labs
what is the tube attached to his helmet for?
+justtellthemno History tells me that if he fucks up, the team can release gas...
Hahahahaha
+justtellthemno Pretty sure its for water
+Martin Vindis 😂😂😂😂😂

G forces
Cuz he's looking at the corner apex and exits
Faster than my Civic.
Only slower compared to a f-1
@@viarnay F1 and endurance racing are different things
Incroyable
Spa circuit is a very long one but not aboard of an Lmp1
How did You record this video?
+Hans Wurst I know, i'm curious which program did U use to record it, because i tried several ones, but none of them worked.
i just want to know why the other cars are to slow compared to the audi r18, it passes them so easly
Diferent categories. Audi R18 is LMP1 class with Toyota and Porsche. LMP2 cars with nissan engines are slower. And GTE class is even slower then LMP2.
But they're so much slower than F1. I believe 7 seconds per lap. Could but wrong

0:47 bro went wide
Probably misjudged his braking threshold
The diesel engine is so quiet
who's the driver? honestly taking an amateur lines! too bad.
benoit treluyer. Three time le mans winner with audi
calling benoît an amateur is probably the biggest mistake
Calling Benoit an amateur when he’s won Le Mans several times is crazy work
