This part inspired me so much as a kid. I was sad to see Pat Brennan leave the skateboarding world back in the day. I'm sorry he's gone. He's such a talent.

OOOMMFFFGGGGGGG!!!!!!! this is literally my favorite skate part of all time!!!!! and i can't believe i just noticed this, but @:22 whoever is filming the line ollied up the 3 stair as far as i can tell! which if is true...makes this part that much better imo. the original footy from this video was from a point in time where not many intermediate skateboarders could even ollie up a 3 stair....let alone film while doing so! this blows my 47 year old mind right now! rip PAT BRENNAN

I loved the filming, especially from the side at medium field. And the moonlight sonata just kicked it over the top (to say nothing of the bangers and nbds and lines)

The first lines are the definition of atrocious early 90s filming. Truly worst case scenario of a clueless head holding the camera. The mid-range side ones you mention were lucky and unplanned.

This was out in 91 which makes this part further ahead of its time.

I remember a lot of people at the time thought there was a bit to much moviemagic/creative editing being done in the Powell Peralta videos. Like for instance there might be lines that were filmed in two parts. Although this particular video did a lot less of that. Or like at 1:54 there's a grinding sound even though it's a backside lipslide.

Yeah, like Rudy Johnson said, it took a while to appreciate the cinematography. I myself was more of a Spike/Mike fan. Like, for instance, Stacy would get his riders to dig out the same wardrobe over multiple days while MT would even throw clips of other riders into a guy's section with flagrant disregard for continuity lol

We all did these tricks awhile after parts like his. This was, were where we got the new tricks from but there was just no camera around to film anyone with anything.🤷
