You can check the course structure of mechatronics in edx mechatronics course. Much detailed course structure. This one just covers the basic stuff in mechatronics...

No scope in India .my brother did aerospace engineering from IIT Kanpur but at last went to oracle (a software company) with a package of 17LPA leaving behind his interest in aeronautics!! Think before you take that branch,If money is your priority then choose CSE,MnC,EE/ECE!!!Hope it helps !!

@Anand aerospace engineers have a bright future, I agree that at present, in India, it's not good, but the new scheme has opened an ample number of opportunity for us. And the most important thing is Aerospace engineering is very good at IIT Guwahati, placement is also high I know coz I live near IIT Guwahati .

No you can't, mechatronics is only elligible in ISRO and they are saying that there are lot of opportunities for mechatronics in govt sector and truth is that govt sectors not even consider mechatronics , I'm also facing elligibility issues
