@@Pedalnerds Update; had the Oceans 11 for a while now & combined with a Canyon & an Epitome, it's a thing of joy. Apparently they're working on the next version, much like they did with the Grand Canyon.
This seems like the coolest reverb ever. I kind of wish I had bought one instead of an acual reverb unit. This does so much more and is a fraction of the price.

Pretty cool! I tried this pedal out the other night, and wasn't too impressed with it. Perhaps I didn't give it enough of a chance, based upon your video. What caught my attention in this video is that you're using a Jag with Porter Pickups. I found out two or three weeks ago that I live A LITERAL MILE from their shop!! They're tucked away in an industrial section behind an RV dealership on a street I drive on every day, but never pay much attention to it. The guys who run Porter are real cool. They do open houses, and I went to one, and they showed me around their shop and how they make their pickups and guitars from start to finish. I have Pure Vintage '65s in my Jaguar, and love them, but I want to support the local fellas. My guitar sounds too good, so I will probably have to pass. Anyway, great video and love the sound.
Got this a few days ago, I've had a big sky, mercury 7, microcosm, dark star, walrus slo and a few others that cover reverb, yet I had no idea this covered so much ground, with auto swells and sustain functionality on the switch - it is an absolute steal at £127
I heard some Chords of Orion in the ducking section. I don’t know, maybe that’s a Godspeed song or something but I know he play that same progression. Great informative demo man!
I know that I am late to the game with this Bad-Boy, but what a joy. I can only hope to understand 1/2 of what it may do... Fun learning in the mean time; and will look for more instructions as well - this one is GREAT and I agree with the shut up and let the hardware talk.
Hey I just bought the EHX Grand Canyon, Ive heard rumors of a second and larger oceans 11 coming out like the Grand Canyon, would you recommend waiting for that for stereo or getting this?

Here is my current path: Les Paul--Boss TU3 tuner--Route 66 (compressor then overdrive)--Fulltone OCD--Boss CE-5 chorus--Visual Sound dual tap delay--AMP (Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV). Your thoughts appreciated.
Thanks Stephen. I would put the Oceans 11 last in the pedal chain (before the amp), but you could always experiment with the order if wanted. You could also put it in the effects loop of the HRD IV. Do you like using the effects loop of the amp usually?
This pedal is one of the few believable reverbs that allows the instrument to occupy the space it creates. Being able to do so much more makes it an absolute bargain..
I think a whole lot of us feel that way. Funny thing about the canyon, it does such an incredible job as a stand-alone reverb, octave, even chorus, I almost forgo using it as a delay, let alone a looper! The Oceans is a perfect compliment because it carries some of those same mod tricks with different twists. Nathan did a stellar job pointing that out. You could buy both and an extra patch cable for less than a Strymon. When u see it that way, sells itself...EHX is just killing it lately. I’m scooping this and the reissue triangle or Russian muff ASAP

I just got this last night, I’m so impressed with it, I spent hrs jamming out with it and only used the hall and spring setting so far.
It would be worth the price for the Spring setting alone, but it does a lot more!
