Initially I wasn't a fan of Stranger Things. It WASN'T that I didn't like it, but I hadn't seen it. But recently my roommate's brother had brought over the DVD set of season One. Plus he gave me a Netflix $60.⁰⁰ card for my 🎂birthday🎂 so I finally gave in and we watched the first season. I WAS stunned, it was incredible. Awesome cast, great writers and ✍writing✍, and really cool enemies. Top notch show! I'll admit I was a goof for NOT watching this sooner!
The Jada Toys Hollywood Rides series has provided us die-cast collectors with some absolutely fantastic cars. From the Trans-Am in Smokey & the Bandit, the Jeep(s) in Jurassic Park, KITT & KARR, as well as so many other iconic vehicles from 📺TV📺shows & 🎬Movies🎬. As I said below I normally only collect ¹/⁶⁴ scale die-cast cars, the ¹/⁵⁵ scale die-cast cars they made were so well made I got quite a few of the ¹/⁵⁵ scale versions as well as the ¹/⁶⁴ Greenlight Movie lines as well my new favorite is the Monster Truck from Ace Ventura Pet Detective, the ¹/⁶⁴ version. I do really like these Jada Toys Hollywood Rides collection. IF I had more space, I'd get the bigger versions, the ¹/⁴³ and/or the ¹/²⁴ scale models. Greenlight has made some of the BEST ¹/⁶⁴ scale Die-Cast cars made over the last 15-20 years. Only Tomica Limited Vintage makes a "better" die-cast collection, however they are also far more expensive than Greenlight. Tomica Limited Vintage can hit upwards of $15.⁰⁰ -$30.⁰⁰ for the regular ¹/⁶⁴ scale cars. If you decide to delve into the 🚌🚏buses🚏🚌 or say the Semi-Trucks, your looking at them costing over $60.⁰⁰➕. They also make some extremely detailed racing cars. LeMans mainly but some other Indy type cars. Those are also very expensive as well. Upwards of again over $50.⁰⁰➕. Greenlight may not have the same features as Tomica, like the opening doors, hoods, or back hatches, but the detail is very very well made. But these Jada Toys have it all in these line-ups.
Thank you Spot for reviewing a die cast auto. Greenlight has had many really cool releases from Christine with a garage diorama, to the Ecto-1 with the Ghostbusters exterior. Those were Hot Wheels scale but they are really nice collectibles. Thanks for keeping your channel about all things in our hobbies. It's the main reason I've stayed a subscriber for over 4+ years. As for this truck, Jada does a Just Trucks series that are very nice. This is one I hope I can find. Actually I prefer the smaller 1/64 or 1/55 scale. I don't have the room...lol. With the Toy Biz Marvel Legends, Hasblo Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series(I stopped that series except for a few OT and Prequel figures), and my main hobby......Hot Wheels. I also have a few anime SH Figuarts, as well as a couple Star Wars characters. Then a few Mafex Batman Begins, the Dark Knight Joker(FAVORITE!!), and Catwoman from the Dark Knight Returns. Last but not least because of your awesome reviews of figures OTHER than Star Wars and Marvel, I saw your Ultimate Jason and Ultimate Freddy figures, and nabbed them both. Freddy with his needle fingers, his popsicle stick house the girl in III made. These reviews gave me a look at a company I didn't know. Neca. But I soon learned. They truly make the best horror figures, bar none. Because of your review I found a new and incredible brand. Plus they are arguably the best figures from that genre. And again YOU had the BEST reviews of all of them.
There's a few cars I'd like to see added to Jada's Hollywood Rides line. Axel Foley's Chevy Nova from Beverly Hills Cop, Sonny Crockett's cars from Miami Vice, Eric Formans Vista Cruiser and Kelsos van from That 70s Show, the Partridge Family bus, and the CHP motorcycle from CHiPs. The jeep and ambulance bus from MASH would be cool, too.
Spot is a amazing review channel. He is "Spot on". Sorry I had to. If you collect die cast vehicles their Just Trucks line is pretty cool. If you get into 4x4's that is. They aren't like say a Greenlight but they also only cost $3.88.
It looks like it has four headlights? Hopper's has two, the lower ones are amber running lights. According to the movie car database they used two different Blazers for Stranger Things, a 1983 and a 1987, it varies by season. (Likewise Hopper carries a different revolver in S1 than S2.) And Hopper's Blazer has no front license plate, and has narrow stock tyres not fat aftermarket tyres.
Haven't seen this one yet, but I did find the smaller 1/32 scale version of this and Billy's Camaro recently at a Walmart for those who might want to know.
Hmm.. They could make the blue & white Hawkins Police Dodge Diplomats, or even Johnathan's Ford. They could also make those black Ford LTD's used by the bad guys.

Wow I would love to have that I think I seen that back in 2021 Walmart still had it but not for 23😮
They really must add the Chevy Vans 'Hawkins Power And Light'

This would be a good start for modding into Chief Brody's Police Blazer from Jaws - (the actual inspiration for Hoppers car design).
Hot Wheels released Brody's Blazer last year. I would expect to see one from Jada or Greenlight at some point soon.

My concern is, will this metal thing rust over time?
Amazing detail.
Only one reason I would buy this, JAWS

I’d love to get the Stranger Things Funko reaction figures to display w/ this
Me too

Thanks Spot!
I just got mine, and while I genuinely like it I wish Jada had taken a little more care on the details. It's good, but could have easily been great
I love stranger things
I've heard there have been plans for a fifth season which would be the final season, but that damn Pandemic got in the way of production.
Your pronunciation of the letter "Z" in Z28 is quite odd. Nice review though.
It’s not a jeep, it’s actually called an SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle)
Did they use the term SUV in the 1980s? I don't think so. It was basically a truck.
That is a z28
I think season three should’ve been the last season
WHATTTT????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I don’t care about the show, only the cars. That’s it.
@@Trija204 That's massive cringe
I would say season 2, but that's just me.
