    Excuse me Raja Sir, a doubt,
    Although you're fixed the electrodes equidistantly, why the value of resistance keeps oscillating? Whether we are able to arrive at a stationary point there?
    I couldn't make out it.

    Sir what is the diameter of the two electrodes

    • @30mAkills
      @30mAkills ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Diameter and depth of spikes are not that important. Can use 8 mm steel rod of about 200 mm long like screwdriver.

    Why did you short E1 and P1?

    • @30mAkills
      @30mAkills ปีที่แล้ว

      4 pole meter is for measuring soil resistivity which is different subject. For testing earth pit resistance, we have to convert it to 3 pole by jumpering or linking P1 and C1.

    In that meter, one is 10 ohm and 100 ohm what does it mean

    Sorry uploader. Your method is absolutely incorrect as the spike spacings are not as per Fall of potential method.
    You didn't mention the depth of the earth electrode under test.
    You didn't tell whether the earthing system is energized or not.
    You didn't mention the ideal resistance value.
    Shows you don't have practical knowledge. Earthing is done for safety reasons. Don't please misguide.
    That log book tabulation is wrong.
    35 k views and nobody has pointed out the mistakes because they don't know. We real testers won't reveal the proper method. This is the reason that nobody (domestic and commercial services) check their earth pit resistance value.
    You didn't tell about RCCB and TT earthing system.
