Thank you so much for beating the Dragon Quest 8 story on your channel! I've been waiting 16 years to see Rapthorne defeated and for King Trode and Medea to be returned to normal! You made the boss look so easy. While watching these videos I always thought you were crazy for all the psyching up you did in fights but you managed to beat the game and I never did so maybe I am the crazy one
Congratulations! Mazin on Empyrea's back was epic! Also when the "lunatic machine" walks away...but you did a great fight as usual, not at a too high level and gave us a lot of thrill! Also, remember the name "Ramia"!
Nicely done mage! You got a lot luckier then I did my first attempt. Rapthorn sometimes has a habit of doing his "anger of the gods" attack which can one shot anyone under 400hp. My first attempt was literally just a spiral of constantly reviving people until I got annoyed and reset the fight. Looking forward to seeing if your luck can hold out against the ultimate dragon ;)
That fight was interesting to watch. And the fact you had to use the scepter at the same time with everyone while trying not to die would have stressed me out (you pulled it off very well!).
Very nicely done defeating the Lord of Darkness Rapthrone at level 41 very impressive as for the question about how much health rhapthorne has he has a total of 5350 total now all that's left is the ending of the game and then the bonus content I'm really looking forward to that anyway very nicely done ❤
After some grinding it becomes easy, and I also saw someone skipped the scenes from talking to Empyrea to break Rapthorne's shield, during a live stream. I didn't know it was possible, but maybe Mage can do it with the emulator.
At 0:57 Mage makes a dad joke and continues on to make more! 🤣 I will miss you doing this play through Mage.

This was really cool seeing this new playthrough and stuff and was really entertaining, great LP as always Mage!
I always love this boss theme. In my playthrough, I used a party of the Hero, Morrie, Red, and Angelo.
Fun fact If you use crit attacks like Thunder Thrust and Executioner it will not use your tension if you land a hit do with that what you will

You should do the Dragon Quest Heroes games next. Different style of gameplay, but all good fun nonetheless.
I’m not a huge fan of them sadly, find them a bit too button mashy. But I’ll be doing other spin offs !
