Mofo Rc Is this the End of cheap servos?

- This is a Servo test from mofo rc, It is not the comprehensive torture test I promised but rather just a max torque output and stall test. Servos are tested on a calibrated torque gauge solidly screwed to a thick metal plate. The test is based on ounces per inch of torque. The servo horn is 1 inch long from gear to contact. All the servos shown are brand new and only used during this test. They were all purchased by me without any discounts or freebies. All servos tested and shown in this video are tested on the same day, Today. I am also uploading this video on the same day 6/1/24 The only servo that has been powered up previously is the NSDRC servo which i used to make sure the machine is calibrated which was around 2 months ago. It did work properly when i tested the machine and somehow has since gone wonky. I will try to get a replacement servo from Nsdrc and Lgrp to retest for accuracy in the near future. Hope you enjoy this video and remember it is not an actual regulated scientific test.

I wish you would have put all the data in a sheet (each servos stats in a line) to see it and able able to compare stats easier…
Moral of the story, BLACKLABEL 2.0 on 8.4v is the SH… great servo at a great price, with a great adjustable mount and horn! Servobeast put up bigger numbers but not by much. I could tell this was tough for you to just come out and say, and my guess as to why you didn’t put a final list together. Don’t mind the haters. Great job.

What a bunch of legends you all are. Thank you.
I have one of your direct power servo's and i love it. I also have a few rs100s and they are great as well.
Great demonstration video I Really was impressed 🤘✌️
Poor boys done really good Also I love ur servos nick
Yeah my cheapo servo just took a shit, so now I know I need a black label 2.0 at least! Great video. Helped me narrow down some choices. But trying yours first!
Holy s*** the Black Label 2.0 throwing it down
I thoroughly enjoyed the “not science”
Awesome information
Great job Nick. Like you said this was this day, these specific servos, this bench. You didn't have a batch of each to test. I would say you were Fair and it gives us an idea of where each servo stands. I've always said the Black Label 2.0 is the last servo you'll ever need?
Interesting results all across the board. I was wondering when we were going to see it. I recall the live stream where you mentioned this doing this test.
Servo science. Loved the warning sticker
This was way better then my test lol great work Nick!!!! Black label all day..... unless i wanna show off then i pull out the brass Servo Beasts 😊
Yay !!!!
Real interesting how you kept messing around with the scale when testing the RS100. You could see it peak over 200oz, then you were real quick to adjust the scale and then it was only showing lower numbers and not working. All the other servos you were not messing with the scale at all. Seems like you really favored this video to your own servos.
We've seen the multiple other tests and also Nsdrc's testing showing over 200oz. Still the most power and best bang for your dollar for sure.
Would say definitely take these results with a grain of salt, clearly some manipulation going on with these tests.
Check out this testing video

That servo just went wonky. I have tested it before and used it to set up this tester. It did test at or above the specs it says to have. Im not sure what went wrong with it but it just wasnt working. It would run then get stuck. The reason i kept messing with it is that when i moved the horn back and forth it would start working again. Then i would try the test again and it would get stuck. Clearly it is just a bad servo. But I wanted to show the fact that it did hit some monster numbers when it did work. Mark from NSDRC was super helpful to me in getting this setup the way it is and i didnt want to just leave this test out. It is what it is. When i get a replacement servo i will test again but then likely ill take a few of the top performing servos and really put them to the test as well in that same video.
Nick ur a awsomw dude bro
Well now I'll be buying black labels from now on if I'm dropping servo money.
Did I miss the Direct powered Black Label servo? Or did you not test that one?
Just did the big aluminum servos. May do that one in a different class at a later date
@MofoRC OK, I was hoping to see that as the "final boss". Haha Under $40 and a plastic knuckle snapper if EPA isn't set.
People's feelings shouldn't get hurt at all bro you're just doing a test if they don't pull the Oz that they're rated and people need to look at their s***
