  • The golden years of the Ottoman Empire come to life in a television series. The life of Suleiman the Magnificent is preparing to be a guest in your homes in all its glory. Get ready to experience the era with ambition, loves, wars and all the struggle.
Prince Solomon, with his closest man, Ibrahim Pargam Ibrahim receives the bad news in a hunt. His father Yavuz Sultan Selim Khan passed away. Prince Suleyman sets out for Istanbul without waiting. Prince Süleyman quickly reaches the capital. He attends the culus ceremony without waiting. His life changed in one day. He started his life as Sultan Süleyman.
Meanwhile, a galley loaded with slaves coming over the Black Sea is heading towards Istanbul. The hottest of the slaves is not yet aware that he is on a journey that will change his destiny. He is rebelling helplessly to return.
Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of sultan he is by the commands he gave on the first day of his sultanate. But not everyone will like these decisions. Sultan Süleyman does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
Alex, despite all his rebellion, is brought to the Topkapi palace. His attitude attracted the attention of Valide Sultan from the first moment. But it won't be long before Alex learns the rules of the palace. He chooses a great target. Alex, Sultan Suleyman's first night on the way to attract his attention. Sultan Suleiman's wife Mahidevran just arrived from the palace of Manisa. He is looking forward to seeing his wife.
Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Eşi ile görüşmeyi sabırsızlıkla beklemektedir.

    • @bella11110

I don't think she fell in love at that time, she was just faking it, you can see she still thinks about revenge and her family after she met Suleyman for the first time, she's also still Christian then, Firial is the one that advices her to behave and to become a favorite so she could live a better life

Nigar's advice to stop her nonsense and wise up because she could play the system to her own advantage along with realizing she was the only one to keep her parents memories alive along with her burning desire for revenge was the real reason for her abrupt about face and change in attitude. It's made perfectly clear that Alexandra was at first playing the love struck fainting in his mere presence girl to appeal to Suleiman's ego as a way to fully gain his attention thus furthering her plans to gain power for her revenge. As Hurrem Sultan she is actually shown to have more gradually truly fallen in love with him in time and ending her vengeful plans for him. It seems the more love and power he provided as well their family ties continuingly growing always tighter she came to understand that she and their children depended on him so she seemed to become truly deeply emotionally invested in him. When she took her victory walk and did her mental voice over during her offical announcement and crowning as the new ruler of harem she basically confirmed that while she had fallen in love with Sulieman and had stopped wanting to bring him down she still has her sights set on even more power for herself and her children. Both yes and no. I won't claim that the man was perfect, but he isn't the womanizer portrayed within the series. Rather, although being described in his early years as frequently to “the palace of the women" after becoming sultan he gradually began to devote himself to Hürrem alone. Part of the reason their relationship caused such a stir at the time was Suleiman broke every rule for her, creating a monogamous family with her in a system not meant to allow for such a thing. Also, although he made controversial decisions, he was too respected to ever be unseated and he really still is in his home country from what I know.
