YoungJi has been a fan of Rosé for years and was trying to get her on one of her shows (she has more than just this one) but she said YG wouldn't let it happen. YG did allow both Jisoo and Lisa to go on Young Ji's show though. Fast forward to now and during this show YoungJi revealed that backstage Rosé basically freaked out and fangirled over her (YoungJi) Rosé also sent flowers to Young JI before the performance wishing her luck and expressing her excitement. So they are both big fans of each other and Young Ji has been trying to get Rosé on her show for years. She has a drinking show were she get's drunk with idols both Lisa and Jisoo went on that's the show she was trying to get Rosé on but YoungJi said YG wouln'dt agree. She even got on the floor and did the choreo for Rosé's old solo song On the Ground in her kitchen in a video, and she said Rosé was her favorite. I'm pretty new to her but I think it's pronounced like (young gee) like Jisoo without the -soo.
@thevirus8803 really why wouldn't they let her, well it looked like they loved and respected each other, n I don't know her obviously but rose do genuinely seem like such a nice kind n humble person I know when certain ppl reach a certain fame they are up themselves but not rose 🙂 and looking forward to dropping the rest of her album, and I'll try check some more young ji when I get some time 🙂

I'll give you Lisa wasn't under YG I was mistaken but Jisoo was. So Young Ji wanted Rosé and Rosé would have loved to go on her show but YG sent Jisoo instead. I can't imagine how it feels to have your company turn away oppurtinies for you and give the to your group mates. I'm not saying it's Jisoo's fault or she had any bad intentions to Rosé, but that doesn't mean YG didn't have bad intentions to her because their is a long history of them turning way oppurtinties for Rosé. a main vocliast with less line than the main rapper and never had an OST? but few months out of YG she does an OST for an award winning Apple TV series. Forwhatever reason YG cleary wanted to hold Rosé back.

I forgot Jisoo went on Young Ji's show to promote her solo while Young Ji had been asking YG to send Rosé for years. Meanwhile Lisa collabed with DJ Snake and Megan Thee Stalion and DJ Snake later revealed that the collab was meant for the whole group originally so YG gave the collab to Lisa only while they spend years denying collabs for Rosé. Rosé actually get's dragged by other kpop fans for being a bad main vocalist because Blackpink's music doesn't showcase her voice at all. other main vocalist will do runs and high notes while Rosé rarely got those in Blackpink's music. There are reactions from vocal coaches that have reacted to Blackpink asking where these vocals have been in Blackpink's music for the last 8 years one of them she was actually pisssed. General public as well there is a whole lot of people that had no idea Rosé could sing like that.
