Considering it is shallow full keel, unballasted, gaff rig, performance is reasonable, under 10knots of wind. Slower than lighter centerboard boats and doesn't go to windward as well. Often I have to back the jib to go about. Over 10kn wind it develops a lot of weather helm, wants to turn into the wind, which can be a good safety factor but can get severe.
