For your semi truck display, if you need reference materials, I recommend checking out The Knight Rider Historians channel. They have videos about the screen-used cars and semi (especially since they've got their hands on the actual screen-used truck and tractor trailer used for the show). They plan on recreating the interior of the semi (which was a set on a soundstage) into the actual trailer. So, they certainly have details information about the screen-used KITT cars and the semi if you need them. Can't wait to see the finished product. :D
Thanks very much! I actually do watch a lot of their videos and have used them for reference in this build quite a bit! I haven't checked out any of the trailer stuff of theirs yet, but I saw they were working on sourcing the screen-used trailer from the show. Looking forward to more of their videos! I've actually made some good progress on KITT this last week and am planning to have a new installment up soon. Thanks for checking out the video, Daniel!
@@Ibrahim_M Well, they got both the trailer and truck. They recently removed the ramp that was on the trailer and have sourced some of the items for the interior set replica. And I look forward to seeing the end result of your build. :D

Wow, that is super-helpful, thank you! I still don't think I'll be able to use the stock windows-- they're this weird amber/brown color (not from age, I think they're castr in that weird color) and I really want clear. But these tips are really excellent for other future projects, and I'll definitely use them. Thanks again!
No problem, I just found another “car pool coupe” at goodwill to start my knight rider!! Ironically, I will probably have to vacuum form the windows for mine from scratch as this car has no top… It’s the same car I used for my Delorian
@@emilflognoid1532 Excellent! Nothing like finding exactly what you need at a thrift store! I'm thinking I'm going to try to heat some plastic and use the existing windows I have as a template to mold them over. We'll see how that goes, lol.
@@Ibrahim_M cool, I’m in the process of building a plug to heat form a window for my tie fighter right now… first time trying that, will post and see how it goes..
@@Ibrahim_M Yeah the cool thing about that is that it has both the bucket seats… The first one I got only had one… But I’m using those for a bad batch shuttle that I am building so now I got more of those! Lol
