Yep this is the one from Chicago. I seen it for sale here in Chicago even before Mr75caprice bought it. Hope it goes to a good home. She's a beauty. Last of the big luxurious cruisers from Olds.
I had the same vehicle in burgundy. It was one of my favorites. I miss the opera lights, plush rugs, and fender skirts. I would wash most of the rear white wall tires, then back up a bit to finish them as the fender skirts covered a portion of the tire. Those wire wheels were not too easy to clean either.
My dad had this car as a four door same colour and everything. His was a 1984 the last year for this beautiful car with a full frame. Why do they have to ruin a good thing?😢
So you're the one that bought the car from Mr 75 Caprice
I've seen this car on two channels. Was this Mr 75s car.

I had one of these in the 90s and I absolutely loved that car. Boy, I wish I had it now.

Most USA vehicles from the 1980’s were just funky and junk. However, this was a beauty. My dad owned a completely loaded 4-D Olds 98 Brougham.
awesome
These were wonderful cars, even if somewhat underpowered compared to their early 1970's models. Great for long-distance cruising.
What a beauty 🤠🙏🙏🙏
OWN A MINT 1979 DELTA 88 ROYALE SEDAN BROUGHAM. MANY INTERIOR SIMILARITIES. NICE UP TO ABOUT 1986 OR 1987 . THEN CAME DRAMATY DOWNSIZING 😱
Clean ride
The poor man's cadillac fleetwood brougham coupe. Gorgeous surviving creampuff!!!

Sick Whip😮
I had one of these. I always wanted a 98. It was ok. Major rust bucket though. GM must have used dirty recycled steel for this series of 98.
I know it's been repainted but it does look good.
What’s up with the floor pans? Water damage?
75. Caprice sold this car to this guy for $8000 and he turned it around and made a $3000 profit. I wanted this car so bad.
I had a 83’ Sedan Deville and a 79’ Ninety Eight Regency with this kind of interior. I don’t know imo the olds don’t take no backseat
