I'm a lot older than you but I am a mechanic, an electrician, an electronics technician, a musician, and recently got into HVAC (heating ventilation air conditioning) and solar power as well. All of these things (except the electronics which I got with my GI bill after getting out of the Navy) I learned hands-on on my own. I won't go back to doing mechanics for a living but I still do it for myself and help some friends help themselves sometimes. I still want to learn more though. I want to get into 3D printing and CAD (computer aided drafting) especially now that CAD programs have evolved with the proliferation of 3D printing. It's no longer necessary to take a college course to learn "Solid Works" and pony up for an an expensive subscription just to use the program. Even the printers are evolving to use liquid polymers rather than monofilament as a source material for generating product. There are even digital scanners available now that can be used to generate files used for the production of 3D printed parts. There's lots of new things to get into, it's just a matter of finding something you would like to do that pays and then jumping into the pool. You don't have to start by jumpng in the deep end either. As long as it's something that genuinely captures your interest it's easy to stick with it and sooner or later you end up knowing more about it than most people do which is all it takes to get paid for doing it. I don't think it's shameful to take government assistance as long as you're merely using it as a temporary means to reach a greater goal. I was getting food stamps while I went to community college till a change of administration made me ineligible. I did work on cars every weekend then but only because I knew it was a means to an end; but now I don't have to because there are lots of other things I can do still in demand. It's shocking how much technical information can be gleaned from the TH-cam database too. You might even give Ai a try, tell it what you like and don't to get suggestions for new fields for you to get into. The resources are available but one must learn to use them before they can be fully taken advantage of. Just take some time to reflect upon what you would like to get into and then consider what steps within your reach you can take to move you into the desired direction. There really is no limit to what your mind can do. It's really just a matter of directing it to the tasks which you want accomplished and staying focused until you've achieved the desired result.

I wanted to share a secret of shorts when you connect to the Divine through Meditation you don’t go down at 42, young lady you should never listen to the status quo. You are very young & beautiful from what I see. Source has a very long life ahead. In just a few years you will be able to go back to a 25 year old body in perfect health with all your memories intact as a reborn young 42 year old. Even without a holographic med bed, you can do it through meditation. You can knock 20 years off when you connect to the light it heals. I know from experience . Don’t forget you are One the Baby’s Too - Clear as Day!

@black.swan.activation I never begged to be saved.. actually I was begging for the opposite..I didn't think I was worthy or deserving but obviously I've done something more than the horrible things that I know I've done.. I'm just glad that I'm not in those dark places where I lost sight of what was important and acted out of hurt and loss and couldn't find the good in myself or see anything worth being in this place.. I never begged for God's grace or his forgiveness.. I just have come to find that what is to be will be and no one else will judge my heart and soul or tell me my worth in his eyes for only he knows what is in my heart not one mortal.. not even do I know what is in my content.. just needed to suffer until I saw my worth that was obviously there.. I just couldn't trust that people could be looking out for me.. I know he was..is.. and always will be.. I didn't beg to be loved..I just know I am.. that's all I need to know..
I have been in the exact situation, could have gotten the financial support, but went without because universe told me so; told myself that I won't go back to something, but I self-sabotaged and went back (but I did have something else to learn there so it wasn't totally a self-sabotage I guess). My personal understanding of my own situation was that deep down, I never actually felt confident in myself nor fully trusted myself, and had that lack of self-worth to feel that universe will do it all just for me to do nothing...... even tho universe has indeed made sure I could eat with the freelance job I had every single time I prayed; but yeah, once you heal and get past these beliefs, you will slowly be able to feel that abundance vibration, tune in to that and you will get aligned with that abundance flow.
Dear Black Swan, Im 60+ have been carer for family for awhile. Im releasing some of the independence back to the person and trying to save to get a place and found a caravan with a garden for rental. wish me luck to make the leap of faith....
