Sirens Curse at Cedar Point is already vertical and even that is not supposed to open until later in the season. Very doubtful Alpenfury will open anytime near opening day.
Also alpenfury goes through an existing mountain that is the icon of the park. Feeding track in and around an existing structure is gonna take forever vs a ride like sirens that is a flat plot of land coaster. I’ve said since September this isn’t going to open on opening day 2025 and honestly I’d now be surprised is it’s opened before August 😢
It's vertical because all the pieces are available, not because construction is moving quicker.. in fact, Adena is behind schedule with the overall project. They're nowhere near close to having poured all the footings for SC.
@@TrueLies23While true, they did say in their last video construction should be done by April for Siren's Curse. As far as Alpenfury goes, many forget even when construction is done,, it still requires a good month of testing
@@jasonbyl8695 the VP of construction did make that statement. None of us know the contract completion date but I do know they are behind the targeted completion date. I'm probably going to get myself in trouble but my source is boots on the ground at the construction site and I'm just gonna leave it at that.
Just an observation to take note of. During my visit to Winterfest on Dec 30th, my family noticed a group of items, being sold for different sale discounts at three different shops on International Street at Canada's Wonderland. At the front gate gift shop, these items were not reduced at all. At the Shop on the left of International Street by the Starbucks, these same items were reduced by 75%. At the Candy shop on the right side of International Street, these items were reduced by 50%, all the same items, The staff knew about this discrepancy and were actually directing guests to the cheaper shop. I have experienced this at Darien Lake as well. Different prices at different shops for the same merch. I hope this has not transferred over to Canada's Wonderland from Six Flags. Just something to watch out for, Brandon.
I highly doubt any construction company is going to start a project during the holidays. Hopefully January 2nd vertical construction will start but my guess is the following Monday.
Park is still open until January 4th, with Winterfest. I am predicting somewhere mid week Jan 8th or 9th. Gives the park a chance to clean up some Christmas decor. Just my opinion.
Loved the page since day 1 and all your hard work but believe me this ride is not behind schedule. It will be up and running by May. There is so much time left. Also Yukon striker was a different beast all together. The width of the track alone would require an earlier start time.
Yukon Striker's schedule was partially influenced by a film crew for the TV show Building Giants. The construction schedule was not determined by "the width of track" 😂
Prediction- This will not open in 2025. This would be a slap in the face for people buying season passes with the expectation it would be open in 2025.

End of summer maybe

This is starting to look like a 2026 Coaster
Oh god I REALLY hope not!! I don't care if it gets pushed all the way back to August, just NOT IN 2026!!
I think winter fest is holding them up
They may have wanted to finish inside the mountain first before moving on and are waiting on all the black Legos

Aren't all the footings outside the mountain done? If so, vertical should start. There's no need for more delays.
January 2-8 will be the start I think
If longer wait there’s no way it will be ready
I used to be an Ironworker, and I can tell you they could throw all of the steel up in a few short days.
They're called American beams. I-beams are not common at all anymore.
Not if the footings have to be redone...
@@TommonSenseProAbsolutely. The concrete has to cure. Cures more slowly in the cold.
@@chrisdolson4840 What does "cure" mean again?
@@dreamy.reader52 Mainly the curing process is drying. Because of it's moisture content it takes upwards of a month to "cure", or dry.
I’m still confused on why they haven’t started vertical
for a while they were still choosing the vertical company they have it now but winter fest is probably holding them back
Nice video.
welp. maybe ready for 26
doesnt look good

What makes you think Alpenfury would open on time? I've lost hope...

I'm assuming Jan 2 for when construction will actually start. But that's just a guess
Wonderland has never said it would be ready for opening day though. Not like when Yukon Striker opened.
I would assume that vertical will start after winter fest, so like January 6
could you do an analysis on where all these pieces will go at some point cause i’m curious
Oof, seems about 5-6 months behind, footers should be in by the end of summer
Good video footage, but way to much ummm. Keep up the good job
Haha you’re right. I hate it myself. It’s one of my biggest insecurities with my speech
Alpen Fury will be the best New ride for 2026
Vertical January 8 -10th. They will clean up from Winterfest, Anything that might get in the way.
Sure seem disorganized. There is only about 3 days of work there for a good structural team. The need a lot more track.
Do you think this was a manufacturing issue for delays, or do you think that this is a bigger project then the park thought work wise.
Brendok Tume Tarp soon be sold ? I should rode 2024
What??????
@A.H-z5r brendok ride for sale ?
So question do u think it's gonna be open for season pass holders day in April it's not looking like it 😅
