Thanks for the feedback. On the Weezing staying in, I think I was predicting a focus punch on the switch in. That turn 1 punch traumatized me so badly I made several suboptimal plays to make sure I didn't fall for it again
Playing around punch was sensible earlier on. In that spot where Slaking only had 1 turn left to live, he had no reason to Punch since Double Edge KO'd everything anyway

I think that the idea behind Blastoise might be that with Slaking, after you throw out your move, you give an opportunity to your opponent to set up, making Phazing more necessary.
While you can relegate Phazing to just Skarmory, you put so much pressure on it; being a Physical Wall, your Spikes setter, AND your Phazer, which can lead to Skarmory just crumbling. Splitting up Phazing duties alleviates some pressure off of Skarm to make sure you can get your Spikes up.
Speaking on the matter of Spikes, having the option to Roar and rack up Spikes chip is great for Slaking. Slaking sometimes has an issue where it deals like 90% to the things it wants to KO, and can sometimes fall just short of 2HKOing the chunkier Mons of the tier.

But yeah, Stoise is also crucial vs RoarCune, since CM Bliss can't set up on it.
Also it spins on motherf***ing ZAPDOS.
And it isn't weak to bug, so it can shot an huge torrent pump vs heracross before dying... and the list goes on

Not to take away from the Gen 3 purity- but Torkoal and Pelliper should get their Drought and Drizzle abilities for a month or two as a check to see what would happen to the meta.

Iirc, they tried something similar before - Groudon and Kyogre in OU... Except theyre restricted to level 50.
Turns out endless sun and rain are so powerful that they're still overpowered even with their stats nerfed into oblivion.
I just learned you see the speed markers for each mon with left overs 😮 somewhat very useful info to have

Can’t tell if music was intentional but the change when weezing dies in game 2 is hysterical
The Salamance sac was so free like yeah it's a win con but the Flygon walls it and the only mon it kills is the Skarmory who is already dead essentially. The Houndoom was fine to keep but that Weezing is just a bastard and could've easily won just by walling every mon but Jirachi which Houndoom can handle
