The rating kind of went that way, too. Grading their speed or how skilled they are (like in the Gaius fight) just takes away from the actual creative ones. The torch could literally have been any small, weak weapon. A sorcery staff, or a talisman, or bare fists. If you can dodge everything anyway, then you can make any weapon look "creative" if skill is your creativity metric lol.

I don't know. The mimic tear fight was a single gimmick. It was an impressive find and creative so I do rate it near the top, but Olooh orchestrated his fight to include so many creative and interesting mechanics. It really felt like a fun showcase. There were multiple times where they said they were unaware of the things he did being possible. Every part of the fight felt like and intentional part of his showcase and I think with all of the planning and skill involved in it's execution there was a ton of creativity involved.
You guys were giving the torch-only Gaius kill an 8/10 in a creativity challenge?! Did you forget the premise, or what? Just choosing an abnormal weapon is one of the least creative responses you could send to a challenge like this one. Lost actually complained about this with the dragon no-scope, like ofc using a weapon as intended isn't very creative!
Especially after watching the previous guy roll a boss to death, no way that a torch kill is more creative than that seeing that there are soo many torch only RUNS on youtube
For me it's in this order: 1. Oolohs crazy Radahn kill 2. Patrick Gamemans Maliketh Kill 3. Mimic tear kill I think the first 2 deserve this placement because they show the insane variety and creativity this game and its boss fights allow for with all its spells, weapons, talismans etc. And the Mimic Tear one deserves credit for inventiveness. Even if my top 2 didn't win, the fact that they got showcased, does mean that they served their purpose in showing the variety of Elden Ring.
