That would bother me and I’d definitely take it back to get it fixed right.
Let them wet sand the runs out in the clear. I would never put in a claim, if it’s a short money fix, and you can afford to pay cash. The insurance claim will hit a carfax report, and you will lose thousands down the road in both resale or trade in value.
You can definitely bring it back and have them buff it for yah free of charge. Or you can attempt to do it yourself if you feel comfortable. Glad you got it back man, it looks absolutely gorgeous in person, now im more determined to get me the 2024 although i love my 2019
Content is good man keep it up
“Its a Sentra 💅🏼”
One you're satisfied with the paint/clear and it has cured, PPF SHOULD be in your future. PPF has saved the front bumper on my "16 GT soooooo many times.
Definitely needs fixed, but would be a good learning experience to sand/buff something that small yourself!
I would take it back! I’m the same way as you are! Very OCD and I like things done perfectly. Especially when you are paying for it. Good luck man! Keep us updated 🤙🏻
Looks great! I'm glad that your back in the Mustang. Curious what it cost you to repair the area?
Bring it back! They should be able to wet sand it pretty easily!
Looks good, but should be great...if it wasn't like that before, be nice and ask them to correct.
Wait a couple weeks let the paint fully cure once the paint diebacks have them wetsand it again and it’ll look brand new for a long time
Hey buddy, yes I would take it back to make it look right. But that is me, if you are okay with it, totally understandable. If you are like most of us, we do not like having our rides in the shop for long periods at a time. Take it easy man.
A detail guy could wet sand and buff out the run in the clear coat
You could get it sanded down probably whether with them or a detail shop. I’d recommend front end PPF. Gives some peace of mind considering the car sits low and will get a lot of chips especially daily driven, extra protection and worth the price in my opinion.
happend to me same a girl hit tha door put the a scratch
I’d take back and respectfully ask them to touch up. Don’t be an A-s
Life happens people make mistakes. But yes you paid a lot for nice car.
I second this! Thanks!
More like $1000. Have to remove the bumper and all the trim. I agree with the person who said they wouldn't file a claim as well. Especially since you've already filed a claim within the last 3 years. Comprehensive is still a claim. Not your fault is still a claim. And they're correct about carfax. Bottom line, there shouldn't be any runs.
Hey man I bought the same exhaust as you what miles did you install yours I’m only at 600 currently and don’t want to damage the car somehow
Cool man! I think I installed mine around 500-600 miles I think lol. Pretty early on. I wouldn’t worry about damaging the car with a catback. The exhaust won’t void your warranty or anything 👍🙂
@@daily_driven thanks man
Wet sand the runs, it’ll be fine.
You should let your beard 🧔♂️ grow
Haha my wife says no
A beard like Car Wizard TH-camr. 😜🧙🏾♂️
You could have just left it the way it was. It was no big deal to begin with. Now you have a claim against you on your insurance for something so minor does it make any sense to me. Within a few weeks, you’ll have a few more chips on that paint anyways. Ford paint is garbage. Now you’ve also depreciated the value of your vehicle as it is not all original factory paint.
The damage did not come across on camera well at all. About $1000 worth of damage. I’m just not the type of person to leave that alone on a brand new car. I get the point of maybe not making a claim on insurance but honestly I don’t think this will do much at all to affect resale. But thanks for the comment!
@@daily_driven it will definitely affect your resale. I would easily yank $1500 or more off the valley of that car because of that repainted front end. Thousand dollars worth of damage your deductible is just not worth all the issues.
I guess we will see when the time comes man. I would have rather had the bumper completely cleared like it was instead of a touch up job that I could clearly see the imperfection. Anyways I’m not too worried about it 👍
Yea bro this is a $50k car, I would definitely let them fix it. Also don’t ceramic the freshly painted bumper right away I think you have to wait like 14 days for it to cure. I would recommend a partial PPF kit then ceramic coat over the ppf.
Some body shops suck!
Best to get your money back
And find someone else.
Overreacting, couldn't notice it even with you showing it in the video...
